thanks Thank you so much Santas and Merry Christmas!!

From the bottom of my heart I want to especially Thank the Santa's who gave my children a Christmas but to all Santa's, as well.

In my request post, I stated that a year ago today we were homeless. No tree. No gifts. This year we had a home, a tree, and gifts thanks to you all.

We did not expect to have anything but a home and that was good enough but we were blessed with so much more.

Thank you u/Taggart3629 for the mimikyu. Aleks loves it and I do too. Too cute.

u/laffinalltheway Nico immediately opened the Bowler hat and put it on. He is excited about the cookbook and chocolates. Thanks so much for those and the iPad case, stem kit speaker. He was/is so happy he wasn't left out. Thanks for including him.

Thank you u/Careless-Act-5416 for the sewing kit, slime kit, and The seal plush. She squealed with delight upon realizing what it was. Jojo was so delighted to see he has everything he needs to model with clay including tools. Aleks can't wait to check out the drawing tablet.

u/No_Pension3991 Aleks has wanted those buds for a long time. He's gonna make good use. Tatiana ripped into the surprise balls before we were even finished. I just looked up and there were surprises everywhere. Jojo can't wait to check out mini drone. Thank you.

u/dhsagal Thank for the shark plush. Aleks immediately cradled it and I think it's his new best friend.

u/sweaterweather1970 the shimmer markers were a bit. He used them on wrapping paper as soon as he tore it off. Thank you.

Rough season. Surgery, Viral illness, and Chronic illness flare but we made it through to another holiday to celebrate life and love and so grateful for everything. First holiday since our lives have been turned upside down and we are just full of gratitude.

Thanks for including my oldest Nico who immediately put on his hat.

He loves the chocolate making stuff too.

Tatiana loves l.o.l. She was going at them before we could even take the picture.

Jojo cant wait to build with his clay. And I can't wait to see what he does with it.

And Aleks is carrying around his shark since opening.

Couldn't get a lot of pics in. Everyone was so excited to start playing with their toys.

Even after my request was fulfilled I've came back here just to see so much kindness in contest and watching other children get to have Christmas too.

So unexpected. So full of gratitude. Can't wait to join the ranks of Santa's and pay this gift forward. Words do not express our gratitude.

Thank you Santa's for making Christmas wishes come alive.

Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone’s day was just as magical as ours was!

I want to thank all of our wonderful Santa’s for their help and kindness this year. You helped put a smile on our kids faces and for that we are forever grateful!

Salem was entranced by her water mat and loves her blocks too, I have a feeling we see her building many things in the days to come.

Levi was so incredibly excited to open his skateboard and had to try on the helmet as soon as he could! He also could not wait to make smores (we made sure to have the food supplies on hand to go with the machine!).

Blake was so ready to chill and relax with some music and his new headphones! Then he opened the Bluetooth speaker and he was even more excited!

I attached photos at the link below! Thank you again everyone, have a happy holiday evening and here’s to the new year!

Thank you so much for a wonderful Christmas. My boys said “wow, this has been the best Christmas we’ve had.” They were really excited to receive gifts that they actually wanted and would enjoy. I’m very thankful for the help and the love shown to my boys this year when I was unable to put anything under the tree for them as I have previous years. I am looking forward to the next 12 months to turn my situation around and come back to this group as a Santa. That is my goal. I hope you all enjoyed time with someone you love doing something that makes you happy. Merry Christmas.

Thank you so much to our wonderful Santas for helping make our boys Christmas such a lovely day! Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/MLm9O4B

Surprisingly we were not woken at the crack of dawn (I woke my parents up at 4:30 once as a child, and was promptly sent back to bed!), and Silas was brimming with excitement! Wolf was excited too, but you know of course it’s probably not “cool” to be as manic as his 6 year old brother was about it. I will say, neither of the boys care much for photos so we did the best we could! Silas likes to use his hair to block his face especially 😆 and at one point said “why do you keep taking pictures??”

Silas opened his blanket from u/Careless-Act-5416 first and immediately remarked on how soft it was and wrapped himself up in it. It stayed on for most of the Christmas morning. We took a break from unwrapping to read a handful of jokes from the joke book “800 jokes! That’s almost 1000!” from u/School_House_Rock. Silas also said now we can make “cool” paper airplanes with his little kit and “thankfully it has instructions so you can make better ones!” He was especially pleased with the play-doh set from u/mrdarcy90, as we had been making ice cream with his old play-doh and now he has the set to make “real ice cream!” The hyper tiles he was definitely intrigued by, “how do I build with curves?” but he loves building things with his hands and I’m sure he’ll master them in no time.

Wolf was way more laidback, but definitely appreciative of his gifts. He’s very happy to have his LED lights for his room, “just like my old room had back in Florida!” and no doubt those will be put up before the end of day. Also well pleased with his fidget toys (one from u/mrdarcy90 and one from u/School_House_Rock ) as he’s a definite fidgeter and those help with down time in school, the bus rides, car rides, etc. He especially likes the fidget rings as he can just keep them on his fingers. As for the Bushcraft Kid book, he was very interested in the contents but “I’m definitely gonna be waiting until it’s a bit warmer outside to do this stuff!” The hat was immediately jammed onto his head and there’s room to grow into it, so it should last a nice amount of years!

We were all so happy with our books from u/bookserpent ! We can finally stop checking out The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors from our local library and give some other kid a chance to read it. And Silas loves space almost more than he loves building things so I can already foresee the sheer amount of times we will read the solar system book. Wolf was very happy with The Lost Hero book (he loves Percy Jackson and hasn’t read the Heroes of Olympus series yet), and even said the League Warriors book sounds good (him branching out from Riordan’s books is a huge thing!). And we adults were also very very happy with a book each for ourselves as well! Silas said “it’s bookmas!”

And last but not least, Monopoly Jr from u/0hn035 ! Silas squealed with happiness at “finally” being able to play Monopoly, and Wolf said “I suppose I can grace you all with my presence and play” 🤣

Again, thank you thank you and thank you! This is a wonderful end cap to a kind of tumultuous year, and it wouldn’t have been a fraction of this great without you lovely souls. May you all have excellent Christmas’s and Happy New Years! ❤️

Edit: I see from trying my link that it warns of being 18+ and “erotic imagery” I’m so mortified and I promise you all I am not trying to subject you to inappropriate images. Silas hates clothing with a passion so he’s only wearing his night time training pants.

Thank you to our wonderful Santas this year. It’s been a magical year my kids will not soon forget.

Sazafraz75, Arielle has worn her onesie all day (except outside) and is using her book light as I write this post. And thanks to rlaw69, she is cozied up with her headphones on too. They are quite helpful when Jade’s getting to bed! 😅

Chooseoneorgetnone really carried the day for most of our gifts. I’m warmed by your kind words as well. It’s a sentiment I will continue to come back to. In particular, Arielle has loved her lava lamp to complete her calming additions made today. And Jade could not put her pull-along Aligator down all day. She put him to bed by returning it to its box. 😂

Topcat30 was once again an incredible Santa for our family and Arielle in particular. As we have agreed, one cannot receive too many gifts if many are books! It truly is a gift that keeps on giving. Her Hermione bag has already become very practical at- she is storing her freshly picked herbs in it. In addition, I appreciate our conversations and look forward to continuing them. Thank you, Topcat.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Merry Christmas everyone, Sabrina had a blast opening presents this morning and everything went over well. It was so great to see a huge smile on her face and she's still floating around right now, BEST CHRISTMAS EVER! She loved everything and is busy exploring all her gifts right now as I write this out.

Special thanks to

/u/Topcat30 She loves the lamp, camera, markers, book and manga. She assures me that she knows how to read them. The gift card went over great as well.

/u/Sazafraz75 she loves the plush and the books, it might be a minute before she gets into those books, but she's really needed something to read

/u/JonPitre she adores the chicken squishy, she's been carrying it around all morning.

/u/welkikitty the headset is fantastic, she told me the battery on her old one had gotten bad so she was very excited to get a new one

/u/0hn035 the stocking was a big hit, she loves all the snacks and she's been warned that the nerf gun is not for the cats, and that anyone she pops with it might get revenge later, if you know what I mean, lol.

/u/laffinalltheway the other half of the cookies is coming out of the freezer right now. If you ever order them for yourself the gingerbread are amazing, like a carrot cake baked into a cookie, so yummy

Sorry this is my first thank you post. With five kiddos and it being cold/flu season it's been rough since around Thanksgiving and when one is sick I usually post up on the couch with them, so I hadn't had time to go upstairs to get pictures of everything.

First of all, thank you so much to the mods and to everyone who played Santa for our kiddos. They had an amazing Christmas that wouldn't have been possible without you guys, and extra thanks to u/0hn035 for all of their stockings. They said this year's stockings were the best that they've ever had. Jacobi and Ember also really liked the fluffy blankets from u/School-House-Rock from the blanket contest.

I couldn't get imgur to work so I made a flickr account and posted an album there:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/202019621@N02/

There are lots of pictures, sorry I couldn't get them better organized!

Ember loved her records from u/Darkstdragon and u/AnyOtherSummer. She let out a little squeal when she opened the Joan Jett Greatest Hits album and when she opened her sewing machine from u/bumpythumbs. She also loved her shimmer outline markers from u/AnyOtherSummer and her charm bracelet from u/Darkstdragon and nearly cried over her headphones from u/Careless-Act-5416 because her cheap pair that she had broke during the last week of school.

Elliott hasn't stopped playing with his magnetic block sets from u/AnyOtherSummer and u/Darkstdragon. He also loves his Sonic Goojitsu from u/Careless-Act-5416 and his slime kit (he says it's the best slime he's ever had and it "smells so good") from u/Darkstdragon and he's already played a few rounds of his magnetic chess game too.

Rodrick is super excited to play Trivial Pursuit and "actually win" (he's tried playing the regular game with us and the questions are a little hard for him). He's also really excited about his legos from u/Darkstdragon and u/Careless-Act-5416. He also couldn't believe there were 3 squishmellows in his mystery box from u/Darkstdragon or that his slime was black. He says his slime is also 'really good slime'.

Jacobi LOVED his backgammon set from u/Crooked_Woody and his Bloomburrow and Duskmourne preleases from u/Crooked_Woody and u/Careless-Act-5416 and the MTG stuff in the absolutely AMAZING stocking u/0hn035 put together for him. He says that the playmat is really nice and extra wide and he was excited about the cards, sleeves, and deckboxes, especially the one with the life counter on it. He solved his metal puzzle from u/Darkstdragon in no time and says he's excited to build the Bluetooth radio and play rummy with his new cards when the littler kiddos go to bed this evening.

And Riddick probably had the best Christmas in his life thanks to everyone and especially thanks to u/School-House-Rock, who sent him two gigantic Lego sets, including the Millennium Falcon that he's had on his bucket list for years. I think he was speechless for a few minutes when he opened them and I'm glad I thought to take a video of it: https://www.flickr.com/photos/202019621@N02/54226584484/

He was also really excited about his Lego bulldozer from u/0hn035 and his Minecraft Legos and dragon from u/Darkstdragon and the Nutcracker Legos from u/bumpythumbs. He says that he's "ascended to Lego Heaven" and that he'll be doing Legos from now until Easter. The geodes from u/Darkstdragon were also a huge hit and he's excited to crack them open here in a little bit.

This year has been kind of rough and your guys' help allowed them all to have an amazing Christmas. I hope I didn't miss anybody in my post. Thank you to everyone again and I hope everyone has a good Christmas!

Wow! This sub is truly amazing and we couldn’t have had these wonderful days without it. Our family actually ended up doing our Christmas on the 21st, it’s a new tradition we started I think last year but I can’t remember. Basically we do it on the start of solstice, but I wanted to wait and I also wanted to get Andrew’s Christmas jammies first for pictures too. And then I snapped a few of them this morning so you could see a few pics of him using some of the toys as well. So that’s why you’ll see him in various outfits, haha.

Thank you so much to all the amazing Santa’s this year! It’s truly wonderful and I hope one of these years I can pay it forward and be a Santa myself.

Andrew was honestly so excited when he saw all the presents. I did a close up of our Christmas tree because we had to put it in our bedroom to keep away from the cat and it was kinda messy so instead of figuring out how to crop it or move stuff I just got a picture of the bottom and his presents. If you notice a yellow barrel in these pics it’s because my MIL actually got Andy that as another small present as well. It’s a barrel of monkeys.

He is so well mannered (don’t all parents have to say that 😜) and kind. He wanted to open some of the smaller presents first and save big for last. He had been asking for a while about getting a hot wheels track, and when he got to the present of the cars he was saying things like “oh it could be a phone”. And then when he got it opened his face fell for a second and he’s like “oh…hot wheels cars. I wanted a set. But that’s okay! Because I got cars and that’s still fun!” It was honestly so cute. Like he turned around and said he was still happy with it because he loves cars.

And then he got to the last one which of course was the hot wheels track. His face is so funny 😂 he almost shrieked/screamed and he was so happy. He said Santa got what he wanted!!

Thanks again to the Santa’s. I will be tagging mine in the comments shortly.

Thank you guys again for all of your help this year. My children could not be any happier right now. It warms my heart seeing how content and excited they are.

Azharia's and Xavion's reactions and faces were priceless.

Xavion likes the busy board and his book coloring book.

I will be making another post that has more pictures and tags for everyone later.

Merry Christmas Everyone! I put together some photos really quickly to share and a video I THINK I uploaded properly? We will see😁I put some descriptions with the photos because they start with the advent calendars. They were s huge hit and lovely to have so they had something to do every day leading up to Christmas. They each opened a gift for Christmas eve. They were supposed to open the Christmas themed Legos but they were rushing me and I didn't double check and they opened the wrong ones. Lexi opened her big Lego -Hedwig from Harry Potter. (The photo doesn't show it but she was super excited for that gift because she had asked for it before but Legos are so expensive!) Taylor accidentally opened a Survivor themed Lego lol. Bubba opened his and ran back to his room before anyone even noticed 😆he also opened his DVD Muppets Christmas Carol. One of his favorite movies. We watched it three times last night while I baked cookies. This morning was so lovely. Thank you to the santas. Our Christmas miracle this year🙏✨🌟thank you to the mods for your help this season. The blankets were a huge hit! I really thought about each child and which blanket they would like. Lexi, a satin baby blanket because hers was ragged. William and Taylor I wanted super fuzzy ones. William walks around wearing his. Taylor's was super fuzzy like the plushies she collects. Bedding is a need, they needed, so the blankets are really appreciated. (In lexis photos you'll notice she has a big white comforter, my mom got it for her for Christmas because they need comforters. We got lucky and snagged it during black Friday).

I really appreciate each Santa who blessed my kids this year. You really helped me be able to participate in the holiday season with my kids by lessoning my worrying and anxiety over gifts. I know there's so many more reasons to celebrate the season but every kid deserves gifts under the tree. Ill never forget y'all and will pay it forward in the future. 🎄🎅🎁♥️

Merry Christmas everyone!!

This morning is filled with love, laughs, and SO MUCH MESS (in a good way). Thank you so very much for each of my kiddos gifts.

Azi especially loved the table and the food set, he's going to grow into the Picasso tiles but for now Jamie can help him with them! This tower car toy is pretty neat as well, he loves anything car recently so it's a total hit! The puzzles are going to help fine motor skills and HOPEFULLY patience too. Haha. I'm looking forward to showing him how to use the coloring pages, clean coloring for the win!

Jamie as you can see was MIND BLOWN by the Lego Cat and the headphones. He said "how did you know I needed these?!" Ha. Moms know everything. His stocking was filled with all of the treats and that really cool cube, which is so much cooler than I thought. The belt display will be hung a little later and we will get all his belts up, he's excited to display them all! That sled though, let me tell you, that boy cannot WAIT for some good snow. We've been dry but I KNOW it's only a matter of time.

Thank you, thank you so much to everyone who helped make this Christmas so very special. Mods to Santas, you all are amazing and I am so thankful and my heart is so full this Christmas. Merry Christmas!!

Braelyn leaves early tomorrow for Christmas at her dad’s this year…so we did our Christmas today ❤️ We are saving their stockings for the morning, since she will have a small bit of time with us before she heads to her dad’s. I took photos as well and will upload those too, but wanted to post a little view of our morning here. We’ve had an amazing day and they are so happy. Thank you to all the Santa’s here…you’re making a huge difference for so many children.

I’m planning on going through our videos and photos and making another thank you post Christmas evening, when things are calm…with tags and personal thank yous to our Santa’s.

Here is a link to all of the videos I took this morning, combined into one. Imgur wouldn’t allow video beyond 1 minute, so I uploaded to YouTube.
