Black Friday and 30th anniversary helped me expand my VR catalogue. I am beyond excited.

Is there any other game recommendations I should have?

My wishlist will be full of VR games now.

Asking For Game Recomendation I fucking love psvr2 and i crave more

So basically i bought a psvr2 2 days ago after literally over a year of contemplating whether or not vr is worth it. So basically this my first vr. I loaded up the demo tennis game dont remember the name, and right after re4 remake (because I decided i aint no bitch) even though i was told thats a horrible first choice. I swear I was not expecting that level of clarity and sharpness and i had so much fun, even though i got slightly motion sick after like 30 mins. I heard i just gotta stop when i feel sick, wait for it to pass and build the vr legs. Only problems i have currently are that sometimes the halo is a bit tight on my head (ive heard that globular cluster fixes this but i aint trynna spend more money rn) and my hands are get very easily sweaty so its a bit tough sometimes innit. Thats just a me problem not a headset problem tho. Now, im thinking of getting another game on monday. I played re4 remake and loved it. I played the star wars game demo, and maybe liked it even slightly more because of the interactivity. Id love to get a game thats got things like that where i can grab things, play with stuff, shoot guns, manually reload or i guess "cool down" in the star wars game, eat things, have different kinds of tools, maybe even stab things. And break bottles and plates wish star wars had that. So if theres anything like that then id love the recommendations or if someone could tell me if the star wars game was worth 40 bucks cause I fucking loved every second of that demo too

Asking For Game Recomendation Looking for a game to "wow" someone who never touched VR before

I essentially got psvr2 and have friends visiting in weekend . Looking for a game that I can give to someone to try who never played VR games before in their life and essentially tually blow their minds.

Currently thinking to show them beat saber, try to find a good planet on no mans sky .

What other games can be good to blow someone's mind ? I think the horizon game ?.

Issue is they never touched VR and most games ain't as easy for someone without VR legs..

Is there any on rails experiences?

I was also waiting for the walkabout DLC to come out and wondering if it will be included in the whole in one bundle on its release, or if I'll have to get it separately? Also does anybody know if any of these games are likely to go on sale, so I can hold off for a bit and get all/most of them?

Asking For Game Recomendation I just ordered a PSVR2

Hello guys I have recently bought a PSVR2 and it comes later today. I came on here to ask about all your opinions because I impulse bought this things without looking into it much. I already have a quest 2 and that still works fine but I was wondering if the PSVR2 is a great upgrade or not.

Sorry if this comes as repetitive for the subreddit as I'm new here. If there is any games you think I should play definitely reccomend me some, I'm giving myself about a 100 bucks of a budget and I'm leaning towards more horror and story games.

Thank you all 🙂

Asking For Game Recomendation First time with any VR system, what cozy games do you recommend on PSVR2?

I love farming simulators, maybe cozy adventure, crafting, etc. Looking for chill and calming starts as I adjust to VR. I was sad Fujii didn’t work because I heard that one was good, I do have the garden of the sea one which didn’t explain things but also didn’t make me worry about monsters while I was teleporting around pushing buttons.

Asking For Game Recomendation Any MUST BUYs on the Black Friday Sale?

Hey folks!

Bought my vr2 2 weeks ago and it's expected on Monday. As a first time VR user, I'm planning on playing Horizon COTM and buying a month of PS Plus Deluxe to enjoy the games available there.

I'm feeling a bit of a FOMO on the Black Friday Sale tho. Is there anything you'd consider a must buy for the price? Please consider it's my first VR experience, so I'm a tad worried about motion sickness!

Asking For Game Recomendation Any games to showcase VR to my wife?

Title says it all. I will be receiving my PSVR2 next week. I am looking for games to show my wife, who is not a hardcore gamer. She played Elven Assassin in some arcade place years ago, and she liked it a lot. Can you recommend something similar? Plus some other games that either friendly for people susceptible to motion sickness or games that have truly stunning visuals, preferably both.

I already have GT7 and RE: Village, and I was considering getting Horizon: CoTM, but the price seems to be absurd given how short that game is.

Asking For Game Recomendation Most frightening simple PSVR2 game?

I want to experience the peak of VR fear that comes in a relatively small, easily consumable package. Jump scares are good, but I don’t want that to be all the game has to offer. I want to be scared by the environment, atmosphere, and realism. Sound, sight, darkness, things that go bump in the night. I’d also like the controls to be relatively simple (the mountain of weapon handling mechanics in Village were a major turn-off for me, so I didn’t even get past the tutorial). I want to be immersed more than I want to be some kind of zombie head-shotting VR combat master.

What games fit the bill? What’s your favorite?

Asking For Game Recomendation Are there any VR games / experiences where you just get the scale of the universe / planets / stars?

I’d like to try some experience where you fly-by or approach planets of the Solar System (or something similar), imagine floating in Jupiter’s orbit, and you get closer, and closer, and your entire field of view is filled by this beast of a planet. Or just experience superliminal speed, see nebulae, float in them… is anything like this at all? It has been my dream experience for years!

Asking For Game Recomendation Soon to buy a PSVR2 - is the call of the mountain bundle a no brainer?

As above. I'd probably not buy it without the bundle, but I'm super tempted with the bundle. Or if it's going to be on sale in the next few months, I'll probably pick it up then? Anyone more tied in to the PSVR economy, did titles go on sale often?

Asking For Game Recomendation Was super hyped on playing Pavlov, ended up as a refund... ¿Any other suggestion?

Was quite hyped for trying pavlov vr as all I could read here was good words but ended up beign a terrible experience for me, unable to aim correctly (the controllers freaked out when i get them too close to the body) spread wasn't enough curated imo... ended up refunding it on the Store.

Now im here sad because the shooter i expected to play a lot ended up dissapointing me, what else should I try? Multiplayer is appreciated.

Asking For Game Recomendation sales almost over, what games to get?

Hello! My psvr2 is coming in tomorrow and I have about 100 usd to spend on games, I’m thinking of getting re8, gt7, and no mama sky, leaving me with 15 dollars, besides those is there a good game on sale for about 30(usd)? Or should I replace nms with something else? (gt7 and re8 and non negotiable lol)

Edit: got nms for 15 used, got 30 to work with now, recommend me some games!

edit 2: got pavlov, thanks everyone!

Asking For Game Recomendation Are the exclusives worth it?

I'm a vr enthuasist, so I'm willing to shell out 550 for the psvr 2 especially considering I already own a PS5. So my question is, I don't care about the experience, is the games worth it? I have a bigscreen beyond, quest 3, etc so I'm not looking for it's reputation of a "pcvr console headset", I just wanna know If the games are worth getting it.

Asking For Game Recomendation Recommended games to play before I sell my psvr 1?

Gonna sell my quest 1 and psvr1 to use the money towards a quest 3 or maybe even psvr2, but want to know if there's any exclusives on the psvr 1 you might recommend before I do sell it. Main ones I was thinking were astro's rescue mission, farpoint, and the one piece game. Anything else I should try before it goes?

Asking For Game Recomendation First game to experience VR in that SHOULD be played on PS5

Hey folks!

I just bought my VR2 on a Black Friday deal and I'm super excited. I bought the bundle that contains Horizon, but I intend on using it mostly on PC.

This is due to steam being cheaper, and the ability to mod the games is important to me (adding new songs to Beat Saber, for example). However, the adapter is kind of expensive here in Brazil so I'll wait a couple of months to get it.

With that being said, now I'm thinking about games I can get on PS5 in my first month of playing. Can you recommend me your favorites? Please keep in mind it's my first vr experience, so I reckon I should start with slower games, right?

Thanks!

Asking For Game Recomendation Just got a PSVR2, looking for games

So, we have the obvious (bear Saber and cooking simulator), mostly for my wife. And while I do enjoy those, I'm looking for 2 types of games for me:

1, I want a good relaxation game. No work out, no stress. Just chill. Like fishing or something.

2, I want a good shooter. Well thought out, good mechanics, and preferably with both a storyline mode and a freeplay/bots mode (bits like in Pavlov, again, on quest2).

Other relevant info: we play mostly sitting, and standing in relevant games, but we don't yet have the room for more (more room coming soon), so if it involves running, thumbstick controls are ideal.

Edit to add: I'm also a huge fantasy nerd, so any games involving fantasy, magic, swords, etc are also golden. Preferably with decent graphics.

Asking For Game Recomendation Rhythm game recommendation?

I just picked up the PSVR2 and I am really loving it. I enjoyed the Beat the Beats demo, but wondering if there are better rhythms games to spend money on. I am specifically looking for stuff that shines on the PSVR2. I am not getting Beat Saber because I would rather play it on the PC with mods and custom songs when I get the adapter.

Asking For Game Recomendation Any good space games besides NMS?

I'm looking for a good space game. Most of the stuff on the psn store seems to be horror, which is cool I guess but not really my thing.

I have NMS already and have played that in VR and was really impressed, but I also already have a couple hundred hours into that game already before I got my vr set.

Just seeing if maybe there's something I didn't catch or something that's recently been announced ;)
