My Setup Use two identical move controllers?

Sorry is this has been answered. I just bought a psvr at goodwill for $25.

Do I buy two move controllers? They look identical… it looks to me like there is only one model. I know I can use a DualShock, but I want the most immersive experience.

Also; those controllers that are the rings around your hands… are those psvr2 only?

Yes, you'll want two identical move controllers. PSVR1 has a number of control schemes. Some games give options, others don't. Some use dualshock 4, others use 2x move controllers, some do DS4 + 1 move controller, others use the "aim" controller.

This is one of the reasons Sony can't just flip a switch for PSVR2 backwards compatibility.

Thanks for this. I searched all over and had no good answers.

The zxm2u are technically newer. They use mico-usb B as opposed to usb-mini B.

Identical. They’ll light up with different colours so the ps4 knows which is which. Yes the ones you’ve seen with rings around your hands are the psvr2 only. A few games can use the aim controller too which is like a move controller shaped like a gun, but with an analogue stick etc for walking direction

you need two moves the ones with the light bulb diffuser globe thningy. Theres two "versions" of it one uses the older usb port and the "newer" uses micro usb. no you can use PSVR2 controllers.
