Awesome, congrats guys!

If you experience motion sickness, follow the basic rules, stop asap when feeling dizzy, blink and relax your eyes as beginners tend to forget that, wash face between session, and breath properly as set front heavy.

You'd even turn on tunnel vision in some games, reduces field of view when moving.

It took me 3 weeks on GT7 from 2 laps to 2 hours. Also you may wanna look into Globular Cluster V2 mod, helps keeping the sweetspot solid and more comfortable as well.

Thanks for the advice! My fiance and I also joined the club this week and I can sometimes experience motion sickness.

Do you recommend any multiplayer or co-op games? I wish something like It Takes Two was in VR.

Motion sickness tips and general Tips and game recommendations: https://www.reddit.com/r/PSVR/comments/11d40tz/ps_vr2_tips_information_and_references/ Do you mean multiplayer where you are both in VR?

Yes when we're both in VR - I got my fiance a PSVR2 for Christmas and decided I needed one too haha.

Mini Golf, Hellsweeper, GT7 should be multiplayer, Legendary Tales, No Man's Sky. Also on tv screen you can share vr gameplay, and if you gently unplug headphones, the sound will come from the tv, so both of you can hear the sounds.

Bought mine on boxing day and man... its been insane.

The jump from psvr1 to psvr2 is night and day. I don't see pixels anymore, just a clear game. the controllers too, what an upgrade... the eyetracking is also fantastic.

Soo far I've tried, breachers, saints and sinners 2, legendary tales, Arizona sunshine 2 and cross fire.

Out of all those, although much, much, more physical than the others, legendary tales has been my absolute favorite.

If anyone has any recommendations feel free to shoot me some if you like

So I got one on Christmas too. I didn’t get to play a ton with my VR1 before my kids broke it, so my experiences have been rather limited… but I bought it with the Horizon: Call of the Mountain bundle… and holy shit, I have never played such an amazing VR game. The 🧗 is the best feeling I’ve ever had in VR. The gadgets, the bow and arrow play taking down a Thunderjaw. Amazing, amazing game.

Legendary wall smashers you mean.. i always make way bigger buffer zones in my play area when playing it because of the intense swinging it has you do.

Is it worth it in comparison to THE QUEST ETC?🤔

2

u/GavinWishall 15h ago

It definitely is against something like the quest 2 (I don't own the quest 3 though so I can't say that for sure)

I have Q3 and PSVR2 and prefer Sony’s headset, I now own more VR games for PSVR2. Q3 is better for small experiences, has a wider catalogue and is portable however PSVR2 wins for top quality VR games. Owning both is the best of both worlds.

I bought one too. I have a pc (3090), rtx 4070 laptop and ps5.

I never played cyberpunk 77. I saw a VR mod and I plan to play that game in VR2 because why not. Also Half life alxy is on my cart too. It's on a great sale atm. West World game too.

Also I'm curious about the hitman world of assassination VR2 support on PC as well.

Enjoy your VRs. They are very good. I didn't buy the PC adapter yet. But I'm curious if it would work on my laptop thru USB C since it's a display port protocol.

2

u/Stevemojo88 14h ago

I don’t think it will work because the adapter needs the DisplayPort plugin. Had ive read that DisplayPort to hdmi or usbC just doesn’t work. But there could be a work around I haven’t seen yet.

1

u/hefty-990 4h ago

I see. Actually laptop does out put 4k thru USB C and thunder bolt but it may not have enough juice to power up the VR2.

Where did you find the official adapter?

I believe the holiday sales figure of vr2 has surpassed their all time global sales. Which is good for community. Maybe they will make more adapters for PC.

2

u/Stevemojo88 4h ago

I live in Australia and the adapter is widely available here.

1

u/Stevemojo88 15h ago

Resident Evil Games for me and my wife is pumped for Skyrim. But that will just be the beginning.

1

u/DYlansmithcraiG 14h ago

Can you play skyrim with a psvr2? I know it came out for the psvr1

1

u/Stevemojo88 14h ago

Steam VR has Skyrim

2

u/EclecticMagician 22h ago

Some people want to shit on something just to shit on something.. I have a psvr2 and 18 games so far, it's amazing, looks great, gives me a pretty nice and fun workout, and if I ever wanted to get a high end pc to run pcvr, then that's an option. This is my first real experience with VR and it's blown my mind and me away with how amazing it is. Magical

7

u/Confident_Parsley990 1d ago

Honestly as someone who has the psvr and a quest 3 for standalone and pcvr. Yes pc has SOME more titles then ps5 but you can say the same about ps5 exclusives which are arguably some of the best vr games right now. (GT7, RE4, RE8, hcotm, ect.) I haven't used the quest much except for batman since I've gotten my psvr 2. So far from useless. The best experience for the price on pcvr alone and the ps5 titles for it are just a plus.
