Welcome to the Family! New to the club!
I’ve been playing video games since 1988, and this feels unbelievably brilliant! GT7 and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge are currently ongoing, and I have to say that I’m really enjoying playing again in a very refreshing way.

If you’re into multiplayer games and don’t have a group with VR, highly recommend the Without Parole community. Great people who just love VR games, favoring the PS VR / PS VR2 platforms.

A mod to improve comfort of the device. It adds a head strap and cushions the front and back of your head: globular cluster for psvr2

Can someone please help....set up the psVR2 the way it instructed us to, set up the playroom/space, done the eye teacking then went to play a game, didn't work, done the same at a friend's, didn't work, took it back and got it replaced, got someone else to set it up, same deal Message only pops up when we try to play a game

Yes, what is this mysterious message you are keeping from us?

u/Nietzsches_dream 1d ago
What’s the message? If you have PSVR2 you can only play games for PSVR2, not PSVR

So much fun isn't it?? The thing I love most is watching my wife become obsessed with a video game for the first time ever. I woke up at like 3 am last night and she was awake, she says I wanna hop on the VR while I have a chance since the kids are asleep. We played together untill 6:30. I get such a kick out of watching her hunt mechanical dinosaurs and climb around

My fucking X button won’t work

Spray a little electronics contact cleaner under it and press a few times. Should fix it.

That sucks. The PS button on my right controller has no travel at all. Works for now, but worried it’s going to fail before anything else and I will no longer be able to power it on.

This YouTube short covers a potential fix.

Thanks all - I’ve tried all the fixes I could find in Reddit (which there are a ton since this seems to be a widespread issue) but will try there too!

Not widespread issue, but people who have it, are often going to post here looking for answers

Seems pretty widespread

It isn't. Around 2M headsets sold. The problem isn't even common enough to get talked about in gaming journalism sites nor by psvr2 Youtubers. People with a problem will of course come here to start a post. And everyone with no problem will never come here to start a post "my controllers are fine". It will never occur to them that problems even exist

PSVR2 and VR in general absolutely revitalized my love of gaming.
