In the friends list, is there an area that shows how active someone was? I want to get rid of a couple.

Just use the sorting option and sort by Time.

That shows you their last time/day of activity.

On Global at least the Time filter is the 10th filter. Top are most recently active.

Think its bottom left option. The one without Kanji (chinese symbols). The option that uses katakana that look like this +- グイン
