Basically I would recommend to never sell a unit that is not a duplicate. So yea, I would argue that expanding your box space is prob better. Sooner or later you'll have to do it anyway.

Why tho? I mean is there a good reason I should save the units for?

You never know if they might not become useful somewhere down the line or might be boosted in a TM. Story units however you can basically sell. Even the best ones basically see zero play and they're never boosted in TMs anyway.

Do 4* units get a boost in TM?

Sometimes 4* units (Fortnight units) will be boosted (on a rotational basis)

Best to check the Japan server first, as Global gets their TM content 5~6 months later.

Where can I check it?

Next tm will be Luffy 6th Anni, so from the link select Japan server, then from the drop down menu select Luffy (6th Anni)

Then below you will see what units were boosted on Japan (the mulitplier will be different for Global)

Those 4* units are mostly located under the Fortnight segment.

If everything goes accordingly, the TM after Luffy will be TM Zorojuro, also with a different boosted 4* units.

I just want to add, if you have a decent box, you usually don't use FN units during TMs

But sometimes TM boss mechanics can be tricky and you just don't happen to have the perfect counter RR/Legend, you have to rely on FN units.

For this reason: best to keep them and expand your box size instead.

Almost every time there are 4* units boosted for TM. Though that is mostly FN units, more rarely the story units.

I can recall that story big mum and doffy were boosted once.
