I just completed a 8* Clash (Carrot) and didn't get an Ambush from Shanks. I'm a returning player and I'm trying to farm skulls. Am I misunderstanding the current 100% Ambush mechanic?

You need to complete the highest difficulty of the raid. If the raid has an 11* difficulty you can't run the 8* and get the ambush.

You only get ambushed when the highest difficulty of a raid is 9*

It is a minimum of 8*, just to make it a tad easier ;)
