Hi guys, I decided to restart playing OPTC global yesterday. I've played it when it was released (when WB and Log Luffy were the most powerful units), but then i had to drop it. Now i've decided to restart it but i don't remember anything and there are also tons of new contents.

I've done the first free pull(and i found WB-Marco, dunno if i was super super lucky or it's secured) and then the 10 free Mugiwara pull that you can reroll. I haven't pulled anything alse and saved gems. Now i've seen that there is a banner for rookies that gives you guranteed legends. But i've also seen that the wan sugo fest with 2.5x legends ratio is coming out in few days so here is my question: now i have 51 gems and i have finished "Orange Town" in story mode, so a lot of more gems to get. Should i pull in the new banner that i heard is very very good or in the rookie one to collect more legends?

Second question is: what is the best way to farm early gems? Just run through the story mode? And also, what are the best steps to take as a new player?

Oh ok so i skip the rookie banner. If i may ask, what is the best captain i should use, and who i should level?

G4 luffy and WB Marco are both good captains. Prioritize g4 since he has the better rainbow attack boost.

You have very few Rare recruits, you should pull on the upcoming soba mask banner. Your current RRs are pretty bad, get some extra island characters to use as crew members and clear the story, beginner chopperman missions, and some event stuff to get gems for the upcoming sugo.

Ok ty. So should i pull in the the luffytaro/zoro banner or in the soba mask one? I've read that they will be separated

soba mask is easier to use since he is a rainbow lead; luffy zoro is class-based so you need slasher/free spirit units. They're both pretty good units so it's up to your preference (also take a look at other boosted legends/RR and pull on the banner with the ones you like)
