Is there any benefit to feeding legend dupes instead of selling them to ray now that lb is a thing?

The main benefit of feeding a legend dupe would be the guaranteed potential ability level up, if the unit is limit broken enough to have them. But if you have tablets and would rather get the 5k Ray points instead, it's not really a big deal to trade them in.
