Story is a good place for gems, but the actually useful units will all be in extra island. Currently we also have the kizuna thing going and it would be a good idea to start that. Luckily it doesn’t seem to be a time sink type thing so you can play every once in a while on that, just try to get the unit and if possible their limit break materials (there’s one orb in boxes 2-6, resetting will up your box level, you won’t be able to fully max them). I’m not sure what specific units are good to farm, raid doffy (either in the driven or slasher permanent groups) is a good one because he will boost your matching orbs 2x more damage and works on any team.
