Hi, so I just came back to this game after about a year a couple of days ago since I heard they were giving out a shitload of rewards for this celebration and that super hype sugo.
This is a bit of a weird question, but what exactly have I missed since I was away? I know that's really broad, but if theres like 2 or 3 big things that happened while I was gone back in December last year, I'd like to hear it.
Also, how obsolete are legends like V2 Aokiji and Lucy? When I was playing, they were the ones primarily carrying me through all these events. I'm moreso asking if Lucy specifically is outdated and cant beat every event as easily anymore, or if I'm still in luck and his versatility is still going to help me get through stuff.
Also, I see theres a new Kizuna Clash gamemode. Am i meant to bring a specific team to beat them, and are the rewards just a few tickets for pulls? I'm not sure what the draw is or how you're meant to play it.
And finally, what are the current best legends for this meta? Before I left everyone and their mothers were using Luffy and Ace and Whitebeard and Marco to get through things. Are they still hype worthy to pull, or has the game become significantly more broken since then?

Story Vivi's support is kinda neat.
Heals 2.000 HP on the final stage and changes supported characters orb into matching. Althought I have to mention that her drop rate is retarded.

Story bege is good,story caesar v2 for zombie teams and vivi for support mostly. Some others like big mom can be niche but not as good as the others that i mentioned. Best of luck!

Is it me or is V2 Sanji’s Crewmate ability not working?
His crewmate ability makes Fighter Character’s PSY have matching benefits, but it doesn’t seem to be working on my current team for some reason

Just spent a Kizuna point on the second Nami quest to get some medals and she only gave me one. Tried it again after two hours - still just one! Is this normal? I mean I was getting like 11 for a single point per quest before...

This game makes me feel like a hoarder! I got a ton of new characters from the free multis and am totally out of space. I'm afraid of getting rid of a potentially useful unit and don't want to skill any up until a boosted skill up chance is happening. Should I just suck it up and buy more space?

Hello friend. I'm also a returning player, so I'm not the most knowledgeable person regarding the current state of meta. Still, I think I can help you a little.
Regarding legends to focus.
In my opinion you should focus on: V2G4, Whitebeard/Marco, Nekomamushi/Inuarashi and V2 Shanks.
1) Neko/Inu is self suficient (provides atk boost, affinity boost and orb boost (conditional) all by himself). His teams are restricted to striker/cerebral, which might be hard with few units at your disposal.
2) V2G4 is a rainbow captain and a universal atk booster. He's very powerful both as captain and sub, but you'll have to get used to his gears mechanic. It isn't that hard, though. His super evolution is a sidegrade, but a Top one too.
3) Whitebeard/Marco is a "rainbow-ish" captain that likes PSY/INT units better. Great special, great swap effect, amazing captain ability. Top quality stuff.
4) V2 Shanks, probably the easiest to build around for early content. Basically a semi-monotype captain. STEP 1 - Pick a type; STEP 2 - Assemble a team using at least 4 units of that type; STEP 3 - Clear content. His special is amazing and you'll only have to worry about orb boosters and debuffers (in most cases).Looking at your box, I think you can make good to actually great teams using those legends. Check your friend captains, as some of them might synergize well with your legends.
Regarding content to focus.
I think you should pretty much do any Treasure Map, Kizuna Clash, Colosseum (underground difficulty), etc, you can manage. The more characters you have, the better your chances are.Regarding other stuff.
1) I'm not sure if they aren't but, favorite your units. You don't want to feed them to another unit by accident.
2) I'm also not sure if you already thought of this, but discounted multis are recommendable to you. Mainly because you don't have many gems nor units. More multis equals more units, but on the other hand less guaranteed stuff.I'm sorry if I couldn't help you more.

Hello everybody. So i just started the game a week ago and pulled now on the Luffy law Banner. My question is, i pulled the Crocodile/Robin duo 4 Times and i am not sure what to so with the dupes. Do i Feed them in my Main Croc/Robin or do i Trade them for rayleigh points? Thanks in advance

Why is it so hard to get Usopp from story mode? i know it says low rates but i tried 40 times and didn't get any. I need him for Golden Pound Usopp, i accidentally sold my first one. Any trick to it or i just have to keep spamming?

Well just wait for strawhat recruit event daily island to come back instead of farming story mode. Also you can quit the island if none of two stawhats are the ones you desire but at the cost wasting 5 stamina, which is just 15 Mins of real life time. So better wait for island to come back and also use the reset method to rainbow useful stawhats like robin or the ones you had lb'd.

Yeah and once it's over save untill Anniversary in February it's okay to do a multi here and there but you want to maximize your gems cause after law & luffy there are some super amazing like sabo & koala and kaido
If you save once the 55 mill event is over you will have plenty

Global is having 0 sta to all story island. so I think I may try to farm Doffy (I already got story Bege and Big mom). Does Doffy drop rate at ch1 is same with ch15? because I only can auto battle ch1 with double enel casually, I have to play ch15 manually

That reiju is the v2 reiju. The skull are obtainable by unlocking the island Germa 66 Counterattack.
The V2 Germas are for that island and the V1 from Germa Resurrection Plan island. You can use the database to understand which is which.
In general v1 germas change color at 5+ while v2 germas stay at the same color at v2 form so this is an easy way to find which one you have.

Starting today at 19:00 pst we will be given a free multi in the tavern till the 28th
In the mail you will get an infinite reroll multi but it's only strawhats luckily they are some of the best units
Use the mail an reroll for gear 4 Luffy the blue one and legend nami she only has one so you won't miss it
you know it's a legend of the card is red
Then farm story mode as fast as possible with that Luffy you pull as Capt so you can have enough gems for the 55 mill banner that's coming on the 28th at 19:00 pst

I'm currently rerolling on global but the rates seem really low. I'm doing 3 pulls on the head start sugo banner and 10+1 on the 55,555,555 sugo banner. Have so far done 15 rerolls and only 1 red (sulong carrot). Am I doing something wrong? Also, who should I aim for?
I'm also gonna reroll the infinite 10 pulls for qck g4 luffy with germa sanji or nico/robin because they're waifu XD
Also, is there any way to skip summon animation and how do I know whether the units are sugo exclusives?

I've found Megalo incredibly useful for its 10% built in damage resistance, namely for tanky teams that need more time but can't be zombie - namely, Shirahoshi at the helm.
I've also had success running it with Enel+, because of the rechargeable orb lock to guarantee four or more RCV orbs on two turns whenever that turns up. Enel teams tend to focus on his special to clear, so the missing attack up actually helps not killing while trying to eat.

Hi guys, i recently picked OPTC up again and i've saw massive changes to the game, i've started playing maybe 2 years ago if i remember correctly so if you remember that period of time u get what im saying. I find myself in trouble on how to approach the game right now, i will link my box below so u can see what im at rn. Basically i dont know if i should level up and strenghtnen all of my best units and then try to get new ones or the other way around. Im thinking if the most effective way to come back into the game is to quit doing daily missions and every event for a while and only focus on leveling up socketing stuff like that, getting new characters in relation to mines so that i can make the best teams i can and then play or maybe sneak in a little event here and there , but i think i might get slowed down a bit too much. I dunno lemme guys know.

None of those units are worth powering up imo
My honest opinion is that that box is really bad the only good legends you have are V2 shanks and zephyr the rest are trash dude
Basically any legend before Lucy is pretty much garbage and any after him are top tier
Unless you want them for collection all those story units a garbage and are wasting space
Only good story units are Vivi and hody and the brand new units from while cake

I'd suggest not to rush to snakeman just yet. Snakeman and g4v2 does two different things, Snakeman has a universal orb boost as a special, while g4v2 has a universal attack boost, there are a lot of orb booster, ,of which is a permanent raid (raid bellamy), while not a lot of universtal atk booster. G4v2 is a strong captain on its own.
But if you really insist on evolving him, you can try your luck with the current raid arlong ( +invasion shanks), the +invasion shanks has a chance of giving you a crystal skull, which you can use to evolve luffy, coincidentally, I've been getting the blue skull, which is the skull you need to evolve him.

Is there a consensus regarding the Kizuna Potions? Are people generally hoarding them or using them as soon as they get them?
I kinda feel like I should hold onto them for future Kizunas, just in case if the rewards get better, but not sure what the best strategy is?

On JPN the rewards actually got much worse after the first Kizuna (less tablets mainly afaik), so I plan to use all of mine on this one. So far I didn't use one yet, though.

Hmm, I see. I guess there's also the fact that we can apparently cheese our way up to lvl 140+ by using Magellan + Brook in this Kizuna, whereas that's not possible anymore in the other ones.
So I guess going all-out in this one is the way to go :D

It's possible to the other ones if you get insanely lucky as f2p and get top tier legends like luffy&law and sabo&koala e.t.c or if you whale (real or not). Depends and one more thing is that our kizuna came nerfed but not sure if the next kizuna will be like japan or if it changes. Right now with the x1 and x2 everyone is confused i hope we follow japan in terms of structure and if they want to adjust something that would be difficulty cause kizuna doesn't give mercy to f2p players since it needs specific legends and units to go well. From what i have heard this kizuna is a good one worst case scenario if you can go high level try this one and then save the potions for the next one(since they transfer i heard) for the one that you can go high again. Important to note from my friend Wootie is to careful about using potions cause only potions transfer kizuna medals and kizuna tickets don't.

Bases on my experience, this kizuna is the "best" one. Future kizuna just going to get harder, and on jp starting from the 2nd kizuna the reward was nerfed, only getting 3 tablets instead of 5. Also strategy like brook/magellan was nerfed with nao and some other specific counter ( counter against healing for example). If you think you can go to high level (lvl 100+) i would use them here.

Old JP player coming back and rocking Global. With all the new changes to our boxes and evolvers and stuff, is it still common practice to feed CC to a fodder unit with low Max level to save on berries or are we just feeding them directly to the units now?

You can retry again at another SOS, though I am not sure if you can retry that same boss and if its hp is reduced further.
You only get tickets when you clear an assist.

I wanna ask for kizuna medals. Has it ever happened to someone before playing 5 kp stamina on expert and getting only 30? For a moment i thought it was glitch or something cause 30 is like 1 fight and that's all for 10 hours? Lol

As far as I know each KP is giving you between 2-17 tickets (maybe even 1?) whereby the highest chance is for something in the middle like 9-11.
So getting 30 tickes from 5 KP is definitely unlucky since it means an average of 6 points per KP, but it can unfortunately happen :/

my 5 days old acc has already few good legends like snakeboi 6+, kata v2, cat/dog, barto/cavendish and on what char should i put my candies on? ik snakeboi would make sense because he is rainbow but thanks to the rr's from the sugo i could build a nice team for kata v2 im still not done with the story and since kata is psy it makes it easier for me so what should i do?
i got a lot of dual rr's dupes from the new batch and should i sell them for rp or feed them together?

I played OPTC for 3month++, currently is mainly focus on Sanji V2 Fighter team as i get him from start. Currently is trying to clear some content with Sanji V2 team & I able to cleared content until expert & some master content with different kind of team building but still unable to clear some master & most ultimate content.
Can I know it is normal with this kind of progress & in order to clear more difficult content I need more unit to support captain or I need to build others team with others captain.
I am F2P player, shall I focus on one team to build or consider to build others team type to clear the difficult content?

V2 Sanji is a great captain! But it's important to remember that there is no 1 best team that can clear all content. Different content may counter your captain, or require different crewmates. Try to get some other legends that you can use and level them up as well

Hi sorry if this is a very generic question that is too difficult to answer, but could someone tell me which raids/colos are useful which are clearable with v2 G4 luffy + free units only? I kind of want a direction to play in instead of just mindlessly grinding through the story with no purpose so want to start building towards a decent team.
If it's a case of "you can farm x and y raid but you need a,b,c,d,e subs from the quests that are permanently available" then that will at least tell me where to start farming.

No that feature is already in the game
Example katakuri V1 bosst fighter shooter cerbral and powerhouse
just sort by those and at the bottom of the little box is an on off switch I think that's what it's called flip it the the other one and it should filter out units that have only 2 of those of the classes listed

10 day old account, Not sure what to prioritize. I'm using a maxed Sunny, that's also where I'm in the story. Have everything but money to LB TM Mom, only farmed Mihawk and Doffy for a few runs to see if I can reliably beat them.

Yup and above 8k for demotion from new world to grandline, that shanks/Benn is super worth he's a 3.25x chain lock but he can use but only use his special and nobody else but 3.25x is crazy since it's the highest and only other character is legend tesoro which can use it as well

This might be the best time to pull for characters, 2.5x legend rate, and with the additional gems you'll get in this anniversary you might be able to do multiple pulls on the nov 3 where all sugo-fest banner parts are available, Just be sure to pull all on the same banner, so you'll get the benefit of the banner where you're guaranteed sugo-fest exclusive characters.

That really depends on how many chapters the island has and how far into story mode you are but i guess the earlier ones like 30mins each with the later ones that require teambuilding for each chapter probably 1hr each

This support sugo is absolutely trash don't under any circumstances pull
If you wait till Ani or kaido you will never have any fun playing this game cause by the time they come a new hotness will come and you will want to save for them
Wait until 28th at 19:00pst to pull if you save up after the sugo is done you will have plenty of time and gems for the next big thing

Is there a way I can see what time it is on global? I'm playing in Europe and the new day is like 2 p.m. while 19 o'clock seems to be somewhere around 2 a.m. so I'm really confused.
This got even worse today (or tomorrow?) with all those event starting e.g. Toadskii plays on global too right? But in a video of his today he already had the new sugo fest in the tavern while I still don't.. I really do not get it and would be very thankful for some help/explanations

As for my experience, Ace should have done a better job if only I've pulled him sooner, but yeah, he's cool if you need that 3x chain lock and cd reduction. As for Perona, I've use her as a good staller, that's really big, 50% hp heal and 70% dr.

you get like 1.5x bonus xp if you feed a turtle to the same colour unit so you should take advantage of that though if you dont need them you can sell them also if by books you mean tomes they are for sockets

And the regular time books raise sockets that are super useful

From invasions but only if they are in the news and If your new don't expect to beat them easily they are some super hard content and even if you do beat it your not even guaranteed one every run and even if you do get one it's a random color
The most reliable way is to buy them in the bazzar but they are way to expensive

I am trying to do a challenge, a silly one but a challenge nonethheless, which is doing 100 hits by only doing specials, to get rid of those nasty 99 hit barriers.

Anyone have any idea? What unit am I missing?
