What does "Auswhalen" mean ?

Means "selection" in German. It's reference to the attack from the main antagonist of the Thousand Year Blood War in Bleach. Idk if you care about spoilers, but just in case;

Auswhalen is one of Yhwach's strongest attacks. Basically he shoots a pillar of light to forcibly steal all life and power from any Quincy and give it others who need / are still useful to him. He can even revive other Quincy with this attack. Most Quincy instantly die from this. Even there flesh is torn apart. However, some are strong enough to survive it with their bodies intact. It still hurts them a lot though. They just lose the ability to use their Vollstanding. Which is like if a Quincy activated a Bankai or went Super Saiyan

I know it's prob not the same thing, but it still reminded me of it.
