Isn't she just the 'evil' side of him? It would be cool if the other satelites who died passed their personality on to her though, but you wouldn't want her to change too much.

A core theme of the manga is that of inherited will, given the deaths of Stella, and the other satellites, and her only remaining counterpart being the genuinely evil one, I think she'll inherit the personality traits of the other satellites.

Hell, maybe severing her connection from punk records will force that. All the satellites are dedicated to a single characteristic of Vegapunk because they have that sort of quasi-hive-mind thing going on which meant they only had to focus on their personality aspect. Without that connection, she'll be forced to become a more well rounded individual.

The thing that I'm most confused about is how exactly does vegapunk relate to the sattelites? They all have his memories, and are all like split personalities, but does that make them seperate people? Would they still exist if punk records (his brain) is destroyed?

The satellites are obviously based on the different aspects of Buddha trope (see pain in Naruto). The way Vegapunk relates to the satellites is just like a company dividing itself into research divisions or roles or specialties. My guess is, from Stella’s POV, the satellites combined = 1 of Him, so the real him can have the freedom to be…well..free…and do whatever tickles his fancy at the moment.
