Seems like a draw? Although Mother Flame is pretty important to their plans

yeah, to me it was pretty clear the arc would end in a draw between SHs and WG, for two reasons:

  1. this is the first arc of the final saga, basically the opening act of this storys final installment, and these are Main Villain's top tier generals - it was very unlikely to me all of them o even some of them would lose here

  2. Oda set up the win conditoon for the straw hats to be "escape with vegapunks", and now theyre doing just that, but with half the vegapunks dead or about to die, like Edison

“First arc of the final saga” that line makes me kinda excited for how much one piece we have left. It’s probably going to be shorter than the kaido wano get luffy to be an emperor saga that started at punk hazard but hopefully it has a couple arcs left.

I thought from punk hazard to wano was one long saga named yonko saga but looking it up last time they had changed it

Its dressrosa saga from punk hazard to dressrosa

Wholecake saga from zou to revelry

And wano saga is only wano arc.

I didnt believe it so looked up even more and mote sources were saying its not one long yonko saga as we were thinking 10 years ago. Its 3 different saga.

If thats true its good that maybe this saga wont take 10+ years like punk hazard-wano. Maybe 5 years max? 3-5 years feels short imo, it will be like 3-4 arcs only. But if its all high paced like egghead maybe Oda will make it work.

I was just referring to the over arching goal of getting rid of kaido, the plan for that was made at the end of punk hazard, the journey after that point was always focused on getting rid of kaido. Dressrosa was to destabilize his fake devil fruit production, zou was to get more allies for wano (or at least ended up being about that), whole cake was the most removed from the plan but was technically a part of it because they needed sanji to move forward to wano and wanted to try and get rid of big mama in the same move to make it easier to deal with kaido without the threat of another yonko.
