"Hatchan's Sea-Floor Stroll" cover story shows a freaking fridge underwater and no one made a theory about this.

As someone who was anime only until about the end of Fishman Island, and then picked up the manga, I had never actually read Hatchan’s cover story. I’m glad you brought it up, I just spent 10 minutes reading through it and it’s really cute to see how he came to own a takoyaki shop.

That being said, I kept my eyes out for any unique underwater civilization easter eggs and I just don’t think there’s a lot there. The fridge just belongs to that panda fish and I don’t think there’s much more to it.
