The “one piece” is the one piece of giant continent, now submerged. The Pangea of that world. The oceans are only split by an artificially erected mountain range. Were it not for them, all 4 blue seas would be one - the All Blue. It all adds up now.

That's why the treasure is the Water-Water Devil Fruit. Only it has the power to control the sea level and bring back up the lost continent.

We did already saw a water water or liquid liquid fruit in one of the one piece movies if I recall, by a villain called Honey Queen or something, she was easily defeated by nami when she tried to escape by a pipe and nami imprisioned her on a bottle by redirecting the pipes to the bottle and sealing it.

Yeah, it's a non-specific syrupy liquid, not specifically water. That's different enough.

Yeah. Good idea. Also it doesn’t have to be a water water logia. Now that logia aren’t the be all end all fruits and mythical zoans have taken over, the fruit can simply be - model: Poseidon, model: sea king or any number of mythical creature from lore around the world that gives control over sea / oceans.

The irony that Roger might have left all of his treasure at the bottom of the sea, and that Buggy found a map that might have actually pointed to it. Lmao

Didn’t even think about it like that. I think revisiting a lot of story point now with this knowledge, a lot more could be revealed.

It also all ties in well with Skypeia. It was basically a mini story of One Piece as a whole. Enel = Imu and then the parallels keep flowing from there to all the way to the war and the civilians

What if Raftel is underwater, like Fishman island?

Do a search for u/the_idiotlord in this thread. You’ll thank me later. But yes, most likely Laugh tale is USUALLY underwater…except for certain times. Hence the timing is important.

The One Piece is the plug in the drain that will lower the sea levels
