There introduction was intriguing...if they were devil fruit users, they would have been introduced with the devil fruit category and it's model but instead they were directly introduced as those types of monsters. i think this is a clear indication that they are not devil fruit users but straight up demons.

Exactlty what I’ve been thinking since Saturn’s form was revealed. Oda wouldn’t introduce more mythical zoans after we got an entire arc of them. I think they’re just straight up devils, I saw a cool comment a while ago suggesting their human forms aren’t their true forms. All on board for that tbh

To be fair, Zoans and especially mythical zoans are the easiest to come up with. There is a ton of creatures from all kind of cultures and fantasy stories. While imo Logias are pretty much tapped out and paramecias have to get weirder and weirder.

Yeah, I see what you’re saying..It’d be a bummer though if they just turned out to be mythical zosns considering the stuff they’re pulling off being very thematic toward devils

Don't get me wrong, I would love them to be actual demons. Or at least not just some guy that ate this fruit. I was a big fan of the kaido is an actual dragon theory.
