Who ever said Luffy can't be serious in G5, yeah no. Look at that last page, you have the incredibly serious face while he's holding both Saturn and Kizaru, and that's not a fun smile, aw hell no, that is the smile of a fucking predator. His eyes, they gave me chills.

Facts! I'm just amazed that Oda can make such a simple smiley face drawing into something so intimidating. Its like a "YOU'RE DEAD" smile......

Saw a post here last time complaining that luffy is still laughing while vegapunk is injured. I wonder if he or she is happy that luffy is on serious g5 now. Or will he or she find another thing to complain about

Agreed, luffy had always been serious in the sense that he’s still focusing on the objectives. Who cares if the dude is laughing while doing what he needs to do as long as he’s doing it?
