Vegapunk already played him with the bomb switch, this is just icing on top (for us at least)!

Good point. He might not have expected the Bonney trick, but he explicitly told Vegapunk he'd make sure the bomb was there and still failed.

The bomb that was supposed to blow after the Revolutionaries rescued Kuma. That's partly why Saturn didn't expect Kuma to show up.

Vegapunk didn't really play him on that. The bomb was there, he doesn't know why it didn't blow up except for "love."
