Yeah the newspaper with news about strawhats making vegapunk hostage and nika appearance on the bounty poster had consequences... Giants recognized him, specially his friends lol

He ain't Scopper Gaban. He's Petermoo. Same body type, walking style, and clothing style. Both wearing wide-brimmed black hats, frilly neckties...

Maybe he's Moon Isaac, Jr., instead. But either way, I doubt, if he is a secret Roger Pirate, that he's Scopper.

I don't think he was part of Roger's crew. If I remember right, he was a teenager that got his big break as a reporter by writing about the God Valley incident. I mean maybe he was there because he was already part of Roger's crew. But he could have been any number of things. A Marine, a Rocks crew member, a CD/Holy Knight, a freed slave, already eavesdropping on Marine chatter looking for a big scoop. Too many variables to figure it out yet. I do hope the reveal, if it ever happens, is an awesome one.

(Personally, I'm hoping it turns out the Rocks pirates actually were more like the SH and that they were only made to seem evil. But that the impact of it drove a lot of its members to actually become evil like Kaido and Big Mom, etc. Mostly because it would be kinda interesting if Whitebeard wasn't just a weird outlier.)

Well, I'm not personally alleging that Morgans is in fact a Roger Pirate. Just that if he is a Roger Pirate, he's probably Petermoo or Moon Isaac rather than Scopper.

Could it really have all been due to Morgans? Is Elbaf like a few hours away, or how did the giants arrive so quickly then?

Seems like it'd be more realistic if the news came from someone who witnessed Luffy in gear 5 at Wano. Maybe his bounty poster? I can't remember if it's of Luffy in gear 5.

While we don't have exact distances: Elbaf is the next island to the north, so maybe. This was revealed at the end of wano, when law Kidd and Luffy were deciding where to go next.

You do know Morgans newspaper news are faster than anything.. with those damn birds.. and that after it days have passed on egghead.. unlike the onigashima raid which took place in just one night.

Plenty of days passed on egghead.. they ate, rested... Etc.. and.. there was enough time to have buster call ships to arrive so there's enough time for them to arrive now

Have days passed? I thought it was literally a single night. And if Dory and Brogy, out of anyone, could’ve made it there you would expect to see a swath of different characters having also arrived

Elbaf is literally the next island over, it makes sense for them to be the first to arrive before anyone else

Exactly.. besides they're Giants.. seems to travel faster on the sea I would say.

(And I'm on the team that actually believes Leo is already on the island and he's the one - or another tontatta - that transported and fed luffy to the machine.. so I still believe surprises are to happen) tontattas are sneaky and the storytelling on that part with luffy appearing here and there was suspiciously identical on how oda did with them in dressrosa

With the amount of intermissions, flashbacks, characters sleeping, eating, being trapped in bubbles or whatever, being found with scrap metal (vegapunk), having food again on other occasions, it's not a single night. Oda should put how many time has passed but since he shows them having meals, transporting ships and resting it's to assume time passes..

See, I just completely disagree. Excluding Luffy eating because he's Luffy, I'm pretty sure the crew has been shown eating once maybe twice since arriving. And the only night passing that I can think of is when they got split up and we cut to the next morning.

You can't say "so much stuff has happened it's obviously more than one day" when we've had entire arcs of 100+ chapters happen over the course of a few hours before.
