3 straight weeks of peak chapters.

And Oda COOKED EVERY SINGLE ONE TO PERFECTION! šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

This entire arc has been peak after peak after peak, it's easily my favorite arc of all, and it's my first arc reading weekly

Fishman really was a draaaag. On reread it's miles better but reading weekly was a pain

I was fine during the lore parts but waiting weekly after the like third chapter of fighting was such a drag, and going from there to punk hazard didn't help

That ship seemed like it would never stop falling hahaha But I left the series around dressrosa to let chapters accumulate. Just recently got caught up until egghead some months ago and the pacing has been great lately

Fishman island was rough to read weekly, but I thought punk hazard and dressrosa were fine. Thriller bark was the absolute worst to read weekly for me, with the exception of the last few chapters. It's not that long of an arc, but it felt like it went on forever. I really had to force myself to read with that one.

I was anime only from 2014 to 6 months ago.Ā

When Oda said that "it's the final saga", I figured that meant nothing but absolute bangers would start coming out and I went and read ahead, finally.Ā

Figured he would start making tons of reveals with tons of action.

Same, it's my first arc reading week to week. And each week has been a true delight!

Welcome to the ā€œcurrentā€ party! I started being current RIGHT at the end of WCI and, itā€™s been nothing but a wild ride ever since. Donā€™t expect it to stop, fellow nakama! Oda knows how to keep the hits cominā€™!

3? More like 40, ever since we left Wano One Piece has been absolute peak

Tbh aside from missing a true closure chapter for Wano and Kinemon's fake out death, I've loved everything since chapter 1000. It's the best 100+ chapter stretch in the series for me.

I think the anime did a pretty good job filling the gaps for Wano's conclusion and making their parting feel more emotional.

Yeah it did, I was only talking about manga, where I wish we'd have gotten something similar

Nothing against Wano, but the faster pacing of Egghead make this arc so refreshingly good.
