Nika lore is changing the game, to think we still have to know about the One Piece and the meaning of the D. What a master piece of story telling and world building

It has to be something very childish and grand for his crew to act like they did. He's probably sad he couldn't swim anymore so he said "I want to drain the ocean" or some silly thing which ties to breaking the Redline stuff. Just crack theory I have.

Ahah yeah I think he moved from a naive "I'lk be the king of pirates" to "I'll be the king of pirates" in the sense that for him pirates are all people who want to be free. That is why he awakened Nika because confrontations with the world government and pirate-thugs made him want to create a world were everybody can eat (=is free).

The most common theory, that actually was predicted before the reveal that Luffy really had a different dream, is that Luffy wants to have a party with the entire world. Its childish(based on sabo/ace/whitebeard/oden's reactions) and is something that only people like roger and luffy would want to pull off, which totally seems up their alley. Also, there is a party after every conflict is resolved in each arc, usually bringing everyone together afterwards despite the hardship. Skypeia is one of the best examples of this as the strawhats end the war and bring all sides together to dance and party around a fire, its also where the Nika silhouette was first shown via luffy(and was the panel Oda said was his favorite panel he ever drew many years before the Nika reveal). There is more to it, but that is the gist.

It's reasonable to assume the D is related to Nika, but how... I'd think it would be pretty cool if it turned out that it's not some word that starts with a D, but something more symbolic and Japanese, like it's a kanji that represents half the world or a half moon

The best theory I've read is that it's a tolling bell. The bells of revolution.

If you look at the wanted posters this is not D, not even D. , but D with the point in the center, at medium height like D- but I don't know how to do it on my phone.

I didn't even remembered it correctly, there are two points in fact, on on each side of the D so obviously they represent something they're not just periods. A bell 🛎 is the best guess I have read.
