At least you can cry along when the Strawhats get "defeated" in Sabaody, just for a different reason ("We will never meet again").

Gotta think of different excuse when it's brought up in Marineford though.

Nah, there's Ace there already.

Once Ace gets donutted, just say a white lie that Kuma and him were somewhat close, but that anything beyond that would be huge spoilers.

It's happening right now. My GF got into OP thanks to the Netflix show. SHe's at Sabaody and she thinks Kuma might be one of the good ones.
