A few thoughts.

  1. 12 year old Bonney just experienced all of those memories at once. A flood of emotions for sure, and a whole lot to digest. At 12 years old, there's no way that doesn't fuck her up.

  2. This explains why Bonney was suddenly so cheery and warm towards Luffy afterwards. She saw her father's perspective of Luffy and how he feels about him - she is absolutely taken with him now too.

  3. I think we all know where this is going. At this point I'd actually be shocked if Bonney didn't join the crew. Hers is gone, and Kuma was placing all his bets on Luffy, and I'm sure she will want to carry that legacy. Once she connects the dots and realizes Luffy is Nika all bets are off.

  4. What a terrible day for rain. Kuma is a fucking legend. He was a silent protector for Luffy this entire time but couldn't say anything. I hope Bonney tells the crew.
