I know shit like this shouldn’t be debated but Kuma has the fucking saddest life ever bro and forget about the flashback he is still in pain to this day like this is just endless pain for him. And Bonny having to see not only what he went through but also finding out about her mother too this is insane she’s 10 years old witnessing this happening

I think the message here is big, though: that life is worth living no matter how much suffering you go through.

Kuma's life was Hell, but it also touched everyone. And if you asked him, he was definitely grateful to have lived.

Yeah. Oda is very good at this. The scene where he said to Bonney “thank you for being born” and also before this, the “I want to live” Robin scene. Oda wants to show that just by existing can brings happiness to yourself and other people.

you know when he took Luffy’s agony and gave it to Zoro, i was like, who is this A**hole who thinks he has the monopoly on suffering? Well the pastor vibes track…

But now having seen his story I’m like…ok yeah you know suffering my dawg.

I mean she’s 12 now post time skip, but still just a little kid.

No wonder she instantly tried to kill Saturn when she saw him.

She went from seeing this exact scene to being face to face with the guy responsible for it in about an hour. I can't blame her for stabbing him.

They’re fighting Saturn the day after Bonney saw all the memories, aren’t they?

Yikes…its surprising how many rapes are implied in OP but until someone actually uses that word it doesn’t quite hit…

Only brook and Robin have a comparably sad back story, but I think the presentation on Kuma's was by far the most impactful
