Anyone know of any job openings in the valley or nearby? I have a friend at risk of losing her apartment after 2 layoffs in a year. She's tried applying for everything from gig work (a lot are on hiring freezes) to seasonal work (no bites) to all sorts of jobs she'd qualify for. She's had her resume reviewed by myself and several others. She has a lot of customer support/customer success experience and is very much a "go above and beyond her paygrade" kinda person.

She's been doing 2-3 part time jobs but it's just not enough to keep her afloat. If anyone has any leads that would be awesome.

If I wasn't already helping my boyfriend (who is also looking for work and had 4 interviews right before Christmas, fingers crossed!) I would be helping her out financially, but I can't support 3 people.

They've sadly been useless in my experience though. When I was laid off I contacted a bunch of them and was never contacted back, let alone placed, with 10yrs of job experience. My boyfriend has also tried them and they've basically been the most incompetent people I've ever heard him deal with.

Regardless, I'll double check and see if she's contacted the different agencies around the area.

I agree but in my experience they can get you bottom of the barrel jobs. Just get some type of $$ my experience with them has been in person.

She's honestly open to quite literally any job as long as it covers her basic bills. She's been applying to anything and everything she's even remotely qualified for, or extremely overqualified for.

I shot her a message to double check if she's looked into them at all recently.
