Need Advice Based off my reddit history, what's something in my life I should work on.

I'm curious of what people from an outside perspective would think. I think I post enough for a general gist. Just feel sort of lost in life right now.

Looks like you like to smoke pot? Is that keeping you from succeeding/enrolling in school or anything?

It's not like I didn't smoke it plenty but I got my degree. Planning for your future is a good idea and getting a degree is statistically a wise move by a few metrics, like making more money, more career fulfilment and so forth.

Definitely. I'm excited to have that on my record. I have one more class before I graduate with a math/science/engineering degree. Hopefully something comes of it

Without looking into your posts. I’ll start off objective based on this post. Seeking affirmation or encouragement of others, shows you care what others think.

Based on the context of your query around feeling lost.

Do you give yourself enough time to self reflect and explore what it is you want from life?

Because outsourcing is useful for a general perspective of others, but if people are telling you who they think you are and how you come off, it also means people have the opportunity to project on to you.

So on this post alone, is it more important what people think of you? Or could you spend some time identifying what you think of yourself?

Normally I'm pretty cocky honestly. I hold myself of high regard. So people around me usually feel comfortable telling me what they dont like about me. Normally I ignore them/ I know that they only see a small portion of me so I know what they think is usually inaccurate or at least a little skewed. I got humbled though recently, I vented a little bit on tiktok, something I would never share to people in person, and the negative opinion hit harder because it was way more accurate than the negative things I get in real life. So it made me curious what else people think of me if I'm more true to myself when I'm anonymous

It sounds like you might have a defensive armor you wear around people to protect yourself a bit. If people are communicating with you about your flaws, people might be seeing you in a defensive manner. We all have reasons to be called out or perceived. If people are openly commenting on you, then you might be inviting that to test how firm your armor is presenting as. Especially if you feel like these comments come as a small aspect of who you really are.

As you say, anonymous representation is more authentic or more vulnerable in a sense, no one can see what you’re trying to protect yourself with and you can drop your guard a bit more.

My observation is try to drop that veil a bit more in real life. Because if you’re challenging people enough that they need to comment. It most likely means you’re seeking out engagement or interaction in some way. Let yourself be more honest and open about what that actually is.

Based on a cursory look, you're focused on yourself. Look at the world around you. Others who don't have what you have .. the stability. The sanctuary. The habitation. Finding your exponential relevance might be everything for you. You can do so much more. Be so much more to the world. Leave that mark you're looking to leave.
