The romance won't end until Trump voters (ie the rich and the stupid) admit they were wrong, which won't happen.  They'll twist in the wind til early next week, when Trump says bringing in H1b engineers is a good idea, actually

Not necessarily. Remember how Trump got booed when he tried to tell them the vaccine was a good thing? I think their hatred goes even further than their love of Trump. I don’t think there is going to be a way for him to convince his base that non-White immigrants are a good thing.

Problem is most won't hear Trump's words. They'll hear the spin from Fox News, OANN, News Max, Epoch Times, etc

Look, you can fool some of them all the time, but not even Trump will keep fooling all of them for ever.

And there are enough examples of Trump trying to spin something and then being forced by his base to double down.

Trump supporters can certainly have their beliefs bend and twisted by what Trump says but they can’t go 180 on everything.

Remember their core beliefs are Trump and White Guy Supremacy. Everything else is flexible, including the color of the sky and which way is up.

The thing with Trump is, sometimes the tail wags the dog. When he got booed about vaccines, he mostly stopped talking about them, and later hired an antivaxxer for his staff.

He's not going to support H1B if it loses him some of the adulation of his cultists.

The rich will run or pull their money out quietly when they get what they want, or the moment enough rubes have bought into whatever scheme they're running. They'll be gone before the collapse, leaving the dumbasses holding the bag.
