They brought zip ties to serve as handcuffs.

As they smashed through the final set of doors, one of the invaders was shot;

As the Legislators were being evacuated, one very clever security guard tricked the mob into chasing HIM away from the evacuees.

The Mob never got their hands on the members of Congress and VP Mike Pence was spirited away by the Secret Service.

Right, cause they were too busy putting their feet on the desks and taking selfies.

It sounds as if you’re trying to white-wash the screaming Mob into “tourists” shitting in the corridors and robbing Congressional offices.
