ISO people to interview for a research paper!

Hello r/LGBTIreland! what a convenient subreddit for the demographic I need information from <3 I'm writing a research paper concerning queer life in Ireland and I'd love to interview people over zoom who are interested in sharing their perspectives. I'm a lesbian student from Nebraska with Irish roots who really just wants to learn and figure out how to advance and spread awareness to the cause. Please reach out if you're down!

It's for a cultural geography class I'm taking! Basically I'm analyzing the rural-urban differences and specifically rural difficulties faced by LGBT peopl there. Please let me know what other info I can supply!

This sounds really interesting. Can we get some more information? What college is this with, and what is the research about?

It's technically not "with" my college since I'm not a graduate student and this isn't a thesis, just a research paper; I go to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and this will basically go into rural-urban differences between LGBT lives and how the cultural geography of Ireland impacts this.

I would potentially be interested, but need a lot more information. Title of the research paper? Supervisor? Ethical considerations? Associated university?

Totally understandable! The title is either “How can the cultural geography of rural Ireland shift to accept queer identities? or How do rural and urban Ireland’s differing cultural geography influence the visibility and acceptance of queer identities? but it sort of depends on if the ratio of rural to urban interviewees I'm able to get. Dr. Rebecca Buller is my professor for this project and it's at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As far as ethical considerations I will redact any identifying factor each interviewee wishes me to but if possible it would be nice to include age and location. The raw and unconfidentialized interview data will be kept only to myself, not even shared with the professor, and this data will only be used for this paper. Please let me know if there's anything I'm missing because I'm happy to explain!
