I am confused by the chosen Bible verse. The verse is commonly used when god fucks up in the Bible or prayer doesn’t work. So the parents just want to insert a Bible verse where it doesn’t make sense.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.

I vote ESH. r/KidsAreFuckingStupid and r/ParentsAreFuckingDumb both apply.
