Reminder: It doesn't have to be stupid to be posted. The only requirements is to be silly or dumb. It has been this way since before the new mods came in. More information can be found on the sidebar.

This doesn’t seem like a stupid kid. Seems pretty thoughtful.

Gotta agree. Can confirm “Santa” would love some pho over cookies.

u/Sniper_Squirrel 1d ago

Nope, Santa needs the cookies as he burns over 4 million calories in a single night delivering presents, just don't leave out macaroons, he hates those.

I surprisingly really enjoyed Red One! It was a fun and funny movie. I don't typically like Christmas movies - last one I enjoyed was Tim Allen's The Santa Clause

So that why old st nick is so fat and has diabetes.

26

u/Humble-Search-282 1d ago

I’d take Pho any day over cookies if I was Santy

16

u/RileyBean 1d ago

We used to put out a salad for Santa. Undressed with a bottle of dressing. My dad said that Santa needed a break from the cookies

8

u/pheldozer 1d ago

My mom left out carrots for the reindeer

6

u/wickety_wicket 21h ago

My sister left water for Santa "because all that milk was going to make him constipated!" Made me laugh!

And yet at the time I’m writing this, 487 more people have upvoted than downvoted this post…

u/smokeyser 8h ago

But the broth is going to get cold and the noodles will turn to mush. Mom Santa better eat it quick!

1

u/RAGINGWOLF198666 4h ago

I used to give santa some pennies as a kid to help with his spending costs, lol.

1

u/Th3SkinMan 23h ago

My kid loves pho. Friends kid left a Rogue chocolate stout on the counter for Santa lol.

1

u/InternationalChef424 20h ago

We always did a beer for Santa and a diet Coke for Mrs Claus

1

u/menasan 21h ago

Yeah I really didn’t wanna eat the cookies my kid left out… but I didn’t wanna just toss them. I would have loved some soup … but I guess it would be cold

0

u/jojohohanon 22h ago

This is a confusing situation. Kid is young enough to have 3rd grade handwriting but knows how to assemble a decent bowl of pho. I imagine that intersection is pretty small.

8

u/waitingfordeathhbu 18h ago

Do you think all the other kids are baking their own cookies too?

4

u/anonuchiha8 17h ago

The parents clearly helped lol

7

u/MandMs55 21h ago

Leftovers or got parents onboard is more likely I'd guess

u/RPBiohazard 1d ago

Pho and milk. Mid shift snack of the gods

10

u/smurb15 1d ago

Not on being on time that night having to make stops on the way

71

u/_Utop14 1d ago

I mean you can't go wrong with pho after eating cookies all night.

65

u/Boomtown626 1d ago

Kid is on point. I think we’re gonna leave some Thai for Santa next year.

4

u/SplishSplashPiranha 23h ago

Our tradition is making pizza Christmas eve. Santa gets a few pieces with the cookies. I have no complaints

59

u/Budget-Vast-7296 1d ago

This seems extra fake

43

u/MASyndicate 1d ago

Right? What kid would ever say "got to get some culture in you"?

24

u/pheldozer 1d ago

And what kind of dummy would suggest that a man who has flown to every country on the planet in a single night for the past 2000+ years would be unaware of other cultures. Come on!

7

u/Dabcola_ 16h ago

This sub always reminds me how unbelievably gullible people are

54

u/Pepf 1d ago

"Got to get some culture in you!" haha

41

u/PandemicGrower 1d ago

Try to give the big man a real meal over a diabetic coma and get burned….. not stupid

21

u/ShionTheOne 1d ago

My guy I think Santa would love some Pho.

19

u/ImDisposableDan 1d ago

I hate Mum/Mom FB groups where they post shit they have staged or outright faked and try to pass it off as their kids work.

15

u/Mamaofrabbitandwolf 1d ago

My sister left stuffed jalapeños one year for Santa and my poor white father ate them knowing it would tear up his stomach and ahole. Still did it 🤣 even though he could have just thrown them away lol

18

u/Nikunj108 1d ago

Kid did the sweetest thing and you call her stupid? Smh.

7

u/Dan-68 1d ago

I wish I had a bowl of pho.

8

u/trixr4vix 1d ago

We left out coffee for Santa and carrots for the reindeer 😅. Santa came by drank the hot coffee and the reindeer left the carrot ends all over the floor, so messy but lots of presents!

6

u/bloodypumpin 1d ago

This seems fake. It doesn't look like a child's writing, it looks like an adult imitating a child's writing.

9

u/rasvial 1d ago

Yeah a kid totally signs off a note with “got to get some culture in you” that’s totally not the mom projecting her excuses for why her shitty food is what’s for dinner

8

u/curtydc 1d ago

Of all the many things that don't belong in this sub, this one absolutely does not belong here. This kid is a genius! I'm going to tell my kids Santa wants chicken wings next year.

13

u/Blackmosman 1d ago

Wrong subreddit

5

u/Alternative-Day6612 1d ago

What about all the pho he ate earlier in the night when he was in VIETNAM?

5

u/Mesterjojo 1d ago

OP is karma farming.

Desperate, moronic, a true reddit hero.

4

u/Citadel_97E 1d ago

I would leave something that said “next year, remember the sriracha and bourbon.”

4

u/GalacticBum 1d ago

Sure Rebecca…

2

u/mylostworld69 19h ago

How is this stupid? I personally would have my gramma cook really nice casseroles for Santa. They ate it ofc, but I never really liked cookies as a kid...or now. I'm a salty person, sweets are VERY VERY rare for me.

2

u/Impossible_Crazy_654 12h ago

r/kidsarefuckingconsiderate

2

u/Boomerloomerdoomer 11h ago

Quite nice actually. Not stupid at all

2

u/Dry_Accountant5075 2h ago

The implication that Santa is uncultured tickles ne. I love this. I hope Santa circled yes and left feeling worldly and satisfied

2

u/Switchlord518 2h ago

Thoughtful not stupid.

3

u/bigfatfishballs 1d ago

I’m on the kids side

3

u/innuendonut 1d ago

Wrong sub. This kid is smart.

OP is an idiot.

2

u/Any-Fig3591 1d ago

Man I wish my kid left that for Santa that sounds like some fire.

2

u/PainExtension3272 1d ago

If i was Santa, i'd love it if i was gifted pho

2

u/Meture 1d ago

Dang, Pho is literally my favorite food.

Lucky Santa

2

u/Bigbirdygurdy69 22h ago

If I were Santa; I’d kill that pho 🤤

2

u/a4evanygirl 1d ago

Love the way this kid thinks!

1

u/BidAffectionate5743 15h ago

Santa actually has severe allergies to everything besides cookies and milk. You just killed Santa.

Or, Santa is an extremely picky eater like the chicken nuggets and kraft Mac n cheese kids.

Pick your poison

1

u/SpeedyHandyman05 15h ago

In the second picture did santa circle "No"?

1

u/Complete_Passage4904 15h ago

The note’s shotty looking, but that bowl is on point.

1

u/svampyr 10h ago

On a cold night, I’d take this over cookies any day

1

u/RandomRobb85 5h ago

F*ck yeah, Eriv. Erin? Eric? Whatever. Just keep doing your thing, E!

1

u/udumslut 21m ago

I would friggin love pho instead of cookies.

1

u/Least_Money_8202 1d ago

Evie seems really sweet and smart

1

u/WombatAnnihilator 1d ago

That’s adorable

1

u/nerdonabreak 22h ago

That is so thoughtful and wholesome. We love Evie <3

1

u/Travelcat67 1d ago

I left Santa beer once and made out like a bandit that year! You gotta mix it up.

1

u/halandrs 1d ago

This needs to be on r/pho

1

u/GamingwithADD 1d ago

He’s busy and he’s gonna have time to eat a bowl of that?

Even a half eaten cookie is to be expected. Clock is ticking.

1

u/Far_Joke_3753 23h ago

Guess they on the "Nice List" forever. 😁

1

u/Crunkiss 23h ago

Dad's like "fuck yah we can leave Santa some pho"

1

u/Admirable_Stay8529 21h ago

Santa is eating good tonight

0

u/Belfengraeme 1d ago

Kid is the smart one in that house

0

u/canadasteve04 1d ago

This is equal parts thoughtful and adorable - far from stupid!

0

u/Sendnudes870 1d ago

It’s kinda sweet🤣

0

u/Scrubby-God 1d ago

This ain't stupid, this is so kind it's not even funny

0

u/dragonborne123 1d ago

Pho is delicious!!🤤

0

u/Tikala 1d ago

This kid rocks. Love it!

0

u/Wonderful-Revenue762 19h ago

... Get some culture in you.

Sounds like racist parents.

0

u/Snubl 1d ago

Aww that's cute

0

u/UntestedMethod 1d ago

Looks like some good pho too!

0

u/RazzSheri 1d ago

That always bothered me too! Who can eat 9 million cookies without feeling sick?

0

u/NoAppearance9091 1d ago

I'm Vietnamese and I'd love to have this

0

u/bremmmc 1d ago

I'm with the kid on this one. Much easier to do a shift on a vowl of pho than any amount of cookies

0

u/Sincerely_Jen 1d ago

So I didn’t have milk for Santa last night but I able to convince my 8 year old that I bet Santa would appreciate a V8 energy drink for all the stops he has to make. 🤷🏻‍♀️

0

u/4b686f61 1d ago

Vietnamese Pho Noodles pack more calories and taste than cookies.

0

u/flabbergasted-528 1d ago

My kindergartener left out mini rice cakes. He thinks they are far superior to cookies. He left one for each of the reindeer, too. Cutest thing ever.

0

u/Kimchi_Cowboy 23h ago

As I kid I always left Santa Galbi and Kimchi. Funny enough Santa and my Mom have the same favorite food!

0

u/GiantJellyfishAttack 9h ago

Nerds... of course reddit likes this.

Probably give out vegetables on Halloween too

-4

u/Gloomy-Shoe-4021 1d ago

Your not getting upvotes? Well maybe people find it insulting that you think this is stupid. I mean this kid literally prepared this dish cause they thought Santa was sick of eating cookies, that's just thoughtful. And tbh if he's eating EVERY SINGLE COOKIE given to him, he needs something different, for his health and tastebuds.

3

u/pheldozer 1d ago

The odds that a child made that meal are less than Santa being real.

1

u/Gloomy-Shoe-4021 9h ago

Oh yeah sorry I'm dumb.... (Still thoughtful for leaving a note though)

-1

u/nerdKween 1d ago

I love this! So sweet and considerate!

-1

u/Condpa 1d ago

I wish my kids would have left Santa Pho!  Every year they left cookies that I made and milk, which I can't stand. This kid is a genius.   Circle yes for me!

-1

u/TwincessAhsokaAarmau 1d ago

That’s nice of her.

-2

u/r3bbz23 1d ago

I'd take pho over cookies all day, every day. Not sure how this is stupid.
