Typical Russian. Your government is always in the right and would never do something bad, huh

1

u/Anthony_IM 1d ago

Russian air defense most likely caused the crash of an Embraer 190 passenger plane during UAV attack on Chechnya:

Let's not jump to conclusions the link is from a Ukrainian account, yes the plane was obviously in distress but there is no proof of a drone attack accidental or not, it is very likely the issue started within the plane, let's not point fingers

u/GalacticMe99 3d ago
  1. Videos show Ukraine was performing drone attacks on Russian military targets in the region around the time the plane went down.
  2. Videos taken onboard the plane before the crash show pieces of the plane having been pierced by small objects, including an engine and a safety vest.
  3. Initial speculation when all was still assumed an accident suggested malfunctioning hydrolics. Videos from after the crash show more damage from small objects having pierced the hull in a place where they could have damaged the hydraulics.
  4. The black box revealed that the crew felt the plane hitting something (or being hit). They suspected a birdstrike, but it is not unlikely that that is what they mistook the shrapnel of an anti-aircraft weapon for.

u/Puzzleheaded-Gas8886 3d ago

Thank you for the information

39

u/guitarbryan 3d ago

There are pictures of the shrapnel patterns and video from inside the cabin of people bleeding, narrated and explained by the passengers as it happened.

-8

u/Puzzleheaded-Gas8886 3d ago

Do you have a link I am very interested and would like to get more information before speculating who is to blame

17

u/guitarbryan 3d ago

Literally the link you are responding to. Just scroll down.
Also nearly every other news site etc. that discusses this.

Maybe wait at least some time before accusing anyone though? Because that looks less like a modern AA work and more like someone just used good ole Bofors gun on it, which I doubt is the case. I heard the Embraer group will be involved so the final(and maybe preliminary) reports likely will be relatively free of bias.

5

u/4ma2inger 2d ago

It's typical shrapnel pattern from any modern AA.

-8

u/guitarbryan 3d ago

Wow, it's great that we have such an expert as you in this group!

1

u/BathroomHonest9791 Almaty 3d ago

I literally just suggested that we should wait for actual experts to say their piece, and not arrive to them ourselves. If it is really Russian AA I will take an L, but none of the shot down Airliners in modern times have been this airworthy after a hit from a missile.

12

u/GalacticMe99 3d ago

If this was the first time in the Russian-Ukranian war that Russians were accused of shooting down a commercial airliner I could understand your scepticism, but you and me everyone reading this know very well that it is not...

1

u/DualRaconter 3d ago

They’re the absolute opposite of what you’re suggesting and are talking against people with no qualifications making claims they have no way to verify.

-1

u/Puzzleheaded-Gas8886 3d ago

Okay thank you

-7

u/Dismal-Age8086 Astana 2d ago

The plane clearly has crashed onto rocky terrain. Those "shrapnel" holes could be just holes from the impact with stones. A real shrapnel would have left a bigger damage to the fuselage

7

u/guitarbryan 2d ago

There is video taken by a passenger while the plane was still in the air showing holes, including holes through their life vest and in fact a hole through a passenger.

-1

u/DualRaconter 3d ago

Could that not be from any number of sources?

6

u/Midnight2012 2d ago

Maybe read the link before casting doubt on it

-2

u/Puzzleheaded-Gas8886 2d ago edited 2d ago

Needed more information and still need more information before i cant say who's to blame that's all

1

u/ahrienby 2d ago edited 2d ago

So just wait. I looked down onto references found in the Wikipedia article, it may be the cylinders inside the aircraft.

If the issue started within the plane, why is the rear riddled with holes going into the plane?

4

u/Puzzleheaded-Gas8886 3d ago

I didn't look at it close enough yet but as I said let's not point fingers obviously something happened beyond plane issues let's wait and see what comes of this

5

u/ac130kz Almaty/Astana 2d ago

The plane was already pierced, when it was up in the sky. There are both vids and pics from the inside before the crash.

1

u/Degeneratus-one 2d ago

Ukrainian or not the fact is Chechnyas under a constant drone attack and this seems too unrealistic of a coincidence

24

u/Degeneratus-one 2d ago edited 2d ago

Russians did this. Same way they did the Malaysian boeing over Donbas years ago. It was them all along. I don’t understand how much longer this fascists can keep getting away with shit like this

u/DotDry1921 2d ago

as long as they have nukes, they will probably keep getting away

29

u/Independent-Air147 2d ago

Russians shot it down, while shooting at drones.

But of course, Russian apologists, deniers and bots will say it was a "flock of birds".

Just like how they "did not" shoot down MH17 plane. It clearly was intentional in that case though.

10

u/4ma2inger 2d ago

"It was flock of birds"

"It was plane's cylinders that blew up"

"The holes are from stones when it crashed"

"Shrapnel holes are bigger"

And of course, "LET'S NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS"

3

u/Anthony_IM 2d ago

I believe it was accidentally hit but I mean it could also be any of other things, I would wait for Kazakhstan version of what happened

2

u/Business_Relative_16 2d ago

Russian team will also work on the analysis. I hope Kazakh government won’t allow them to manipulate it

Here's a link with a timeline of events (apologies for TengriNews):

8

u/kaktusgt 3d ago

Hey, what’s wrong with TengriNews and where I can learn more background?

15

u/marimomo Germany 3d ago

Sorry for the off topic: They got too much government influence, which makes some people skeptical about this media source. Like if the government would like to mask some information, then Tengrinews would probably rewrite the story in their favor. But it's definitely the most viewed news website in Kazakhstan, so that's what you get in not very press free country

u/Puzzleheaded-Gas8886 2d ago

This guy is Ukrainian his name is Denys Davydov he is a Boeing Pilot, of course he's going to say Russia shot this plane down, he also post fake videos of The conflict in Ukraine not a reliable source of information.

0

u/DDDDDDDay 2d ago

Your point is more than valid, and he already stated the video was his speculation.

more than half of them are dead.

11

u/GalacticMe99 3d ago

I hope the other half makes it somewhere safe before the Russians begin making sure that word of what really happend doesn't get out.

2

u/Degeneratus-one 2d ago edited 2d ago

1

u/Anthony_IM 1d ago

1

u/Degeneratus-one 1d ago

1

u/SeymourHughes 2d ago

1

u/Degeneratus-one 1d ago

0

u/SeymourHughes 1d ago

Why in Kz planes always crashing nearly to New Year

13

u/guitarbryan 2d ago

The plane wasn't even going to fly to kz, it diverted after it was hit.

-4

u/Ali_ampro 2d ago

Im just saying, just saying.

2

u/Kvothe642 USA 2d ago

If you read, it was an Azerbaijani airline.

-8

u/arahnovuk 2d ago

The plane crashed not because of a flock of birds, but because of an explosion that caused the plane to lose control. The cause of the explosion is currently believed to be an oxygen tank. There are no traces of direct fire on the plane.
