Karting Question Can I use these for rental karting ?

I go rental karting quite frequently at my local track and I was thinking of buying myself some karting gloves and shoes etc. I already have these Motorcycle shoes and was wondering if I would be allowed to wear them and if I should wear them instead of trainers?

The only shoe requirement I know of for rentals is closed toe, so yes these would be allowed.

Yeah rentals allow anything that's not open toe. They will certainly be allowed and would probably be better than trainers if not the same.

Anything closed toe with thin soles, so you can feel the pedals, especially the brake. You don't want something cushy, and you don't need ankle protection in rental karts.

You should inform my feet of that. I almost sprained an ankle last week trying to get out of the kart after an exciting session.
