Discussion - Flaired Users Only Thoughts on anti-zionist political parties in Israel?

What do you all think of the liberal centrist part Yesh Atid and the leftist Hadash party, which allies itself with the Arab Ta'al party? Shouldn't the pro-palestinian groups form strategic relationships with these parties, and generally, the people who want peace from the inside of Israel? I feel like a lot of pro-palestinian groups can be quite reductionist. I understand that many are staunchly and uncompromisingly against the existence of Israel entirely. I just feel like things would be vastly improved at least if these groups worked together.

I don't know much about these political parties and would really love to hear about how they are perceived and any facts or opinions people have on them.

Yesh Atid are Zionists as they come. Hadash are leftist, and are mostly supported by '48 Palestinians and I would support them too. They are abused and suctioned and really hated by Zionists. Taal joined Hadash as far as I know.

Absolutely. On October 8th Ofer Cassif told Al Jazeera that Hadash had repeatedly warned that continued occupation of Palestine would result in an uprising like October 7. The Knesset suspended him for 45 days for this. Here he is in an hour-long interview on October 22nd following suspension.

After barely avoiding expulsion from the Knesset in February, he was suspended for six months this November for calling Palestinians in Jenin "freedom fighters" and his continued support for nations currently attempting to hold Israel accountable for genocide.

they are based af overall, tbh

Ofer Cassif is based AF but I don't know that that extends to the rest of Hadash, I think some of them are light Zionists.
