Unfortunately their response will just be to go further right; they should just join the Republican party. They lack any self awareness at all; when they lose they blame the disenfranchised voters rather than considering that it was wholly their fault.

I have disdain, disgust, and contempt enough for them both. The problem is that I don't consider either of them better than the other much. The Democrats are just the left of the Republicans; politically they're center right at best.
