Humor Seen it all now

On another discussion on social media, I was accused by a zionist of antisemitism bc I use Yiddish words in my speech.

As a senior who was raised speaking Yiddish as a 2nd language by my bubbe and zayde, both of whom immigrated from Tsarist Russia in the early 1900s, I find it bizarre to be accused of "using antisemitic tropes" bc I use Yiddish in my speech!

Zionist are especially adept at making the biggest reaches imaginable and believing it. I’ve had this conversation with many Zionists many times.. “if you have to educate me on why I should be offended by something someone said, was it really offensive?” Like.. the artist for ceasefire pins, or “from the river to the sea” or… a million other antisemitic things. I’m Jewish, I should know when something hurts my feelings and is offensive.. right? I shouldn’t need a Zionist to teach me some obscure fact in history or some obscure twisted and turned interpretation

Then the thing I find particularly abhorrent is the level of anger in response to these “antisemitic” incidents. Treated with so much contempt, and belittling and vitriol. “You’re so ignorant” “you should know better” “this is abhorrent!” “Antisemites!” Like, most of the time if a marginalized group is hurt by something someone said, and they know it’s kind of not a well known offense, their first reaction won’t be to scream at them… I think about how black students at my college put up with SO MUCH before they even said anything to someone.. and when they did, they would treat it like a teaching moment. “Hey, don’t touch my hair.. I don’t like it”

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If that is all that they got, then they don't really have much at all. That just shows how bankrupt they are, both intellectually and morally.
