Since Jews, at least in the diaspora, usually get characterized as having college education and well paying professional jobs, I gotta ask- where are my blue collar Jews at?

I’m talking plumbers, janitors, masters of the custodial arts, general contractors, etc.

Are people shocked to learn you work with your hands and not at a desk?

My MIL gets shocked when she learns I used to build stuff and clean stuff up.

I told my dog he was too Jewish for a stocking and we compromised by getting him two.

It doesn’t take much to make me cry but this did. I lived in Montana for a few years and I can relate to a story like this .

I am the only jewish person I know so I'm not sure who else to ask. Do I let them burn all the way down or do I blow them out at a certain point?

My family isn't particularly religious, (my mother and brother are non religious, and my father is Jewish, goes to Temple, but doesn't try to make the rest of my family Jewish.)

In the last year or so, I've been embracing Judaism more. (I've been going to Temple, reading the translated Torah, trying to learn Hebrew, celebrating Hanukkah, etc).

However, how ever much I try, I can't convince myself to believe in God, or anything that goes against science (trust me I want to and try to believe.)

Am I Jewish? I'm confused. I want to believe, but I can't.

okay i know anti semetism exists everywhere, and can exist in every community, but is there anywhere that tends to be not anti semetic? besides a synagogue ofc, i mean like hobby groups, sports, interests, etc. there’s a major uptick in antisemitism in social circles, like how a previous post mentioned how in gaming there’s a lot of antisemitism, knitting, etc. anyone know anywhere that tends to be kind to jews?
