SA is making a play. They were waiting for Trump, corruption is easy when you know exactly what the other party wants.

SA pockets are deeper than anyone else. Israel overplayed its hand and AIPAC money can’t compete. So now SA decides the terms moving forward.

What evidence is there that (Saudi Arabia?) is looking to do what AIPAC does?

As far as anyone's seen, it's the opposite. The Saudi government does whatever they want (like oh, I don't know, murdering and dismembering a journalist in one of their embassies) and the US occasionally tut tuts but protects them.

Only speculation. Why would they call it a genocide now after waiting a year?

KSA gets the same deference as Israel when it commits atrocities (Khashoggi, Yemen, 9/11). Saudis already gave $2B to the Trump family. The corruption was out in the open. And they’ll do it again because Trump has proven he can be bought.

Biden is a Zionist. He wasn’t going to be swayed. Trump can and will be bought.

Why would they call it a genocide now after waiting a year?

Because you can't pretend your population isn't hearing everything that is happening no matter how hard you try to block it all. So you make noises about how weely weely upset this all makes you, and hope that the populace doesn't get worked up enough that they start trying to make you do anything about it. Because outside of the two holy cities in Saudi, Jerusalem and Aqsa mosque is a particular focal point for discontent for a muslim population in a country that espouse itself as the defender of their faith. People start asking questions, like "why are we trying to normalise relationships with Israel when they're butchering muslims and want to demolish Aqsa?"

The entire world has been critical of Israel but tiptoeing the “G” word. KSA has no problem suppressing their population and I am under no illusion they are out to “defend Islam.” So this is an alternative thesis that these comments are for the world stage.
