Jul 13, 2024 - Erdogan Opposes Israel's NATO Partnership Amid Palestine Conflict

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has firmly opposed the continuation of Israel's partnership with NATO, citing the ongoing Palestine conflict.

During a news conference at the NATO summit, Erdogan stated that Turkey would block any attempts at cooperation with Israel within NATO until comprehensive and sustainable peace is achieved in Palestine.

Erdogan's stance underscores the importance Turkey places on resolving the Palestine issue before any NATO-related engagements with Israel can proceed.

I see no reason to believe that it is anything more than political theatrics by Erdogan.
