Never expected him to die on this hill to such an extent than he’d risk losing to a dude who will Have to be strung up on a poll to make it to November AND who wants to end democracy.

Biden is a life long and loudly declared zionist, this isn't him being forced to die on this hill, it's something he believes in wholeheartedly. There is a common misconception where people project policies into politicians as if "they are being forced into this opposition, if we talked in private he would agree with me". Which it's not completely untrue, he might say anything to you face to face, he still would do what he believes is the best for himself.

Nah, I certainly didn’t think he was forced. I’m aware he’s a lifelong Zionist. But I just thought his desire to uphold democracy, even a failing one, meant more to him than this slaughter. But I was waaaay wrong. He’d gladly let Trump win.
