That's an exceptionally bad take.

Oh no Isreal and Palestine are fighting?

That's so different from 2014

And 2004

And 1994

And 1984

And 1974

And 1964

Damn, Israel has been invading Palestine for close to a century? Guess that means it's gone on long enough that we shouldn't care about it. Statute of limitations and all that.

If two countries are still fighting after 80 fucking years why should I give a shit?

There's a dozen conflicts in Africa happening right now but the media isn't covering them so I guess you only care about what the media screams at you to care about

Because one country is the USA, and it's doing some really nasty sh*t, and it is choosing to be in this "war". Palastine cannot walk away from this conflict, because it's pushed on them by a hostile invading force.

The "Israeli" side of the "war" is financed by the US, fought with US weapons and ammunition, fought by a vast number of US citizens, and whitewashed by US media.

People don't want the US to take action to stop the war. They want the US to stop taking action because the US is the invader.

I mean, normally, I'd say basic human decency would be the reason to care about people suffering and dying, but that ship seems to have sailed.

I do appreciate you telling me what I do and don't care about, though. That's very insightful of you. Here I was, thinking I cared about people dying in conflicts no matter where they are, but apparently, that isn't the case.

You only care about this conflict because it's trendy

Same fucking conflict has been happening for 80 fucking years

"I'm gonna take your land and laugh as we murder you"

"I'm gonna respond to this oppression by blowing people up and murdering hostages"

Fuck BOTH OF THEM

I do? You mean I haven't cared about this conflict for years before October 7th, 2023?

Man, that's crazy. I can't believe I just made up all those memories I had. I'm glad you were here to inject some logic and truth into this discussion.
