April 22, 2024. It’s been almost seven months since the start of the U.S.-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza, which has claimed – at minimum – tens of thousands of Palestinian lives, including at least 15,000 children. There is mass starvation in the north, countless mass graves are being found every day from where the Israelis have withdrawn and a ground invasion of Rafah, which is under heavy bombardment, is still on the books. Despite all this and the growing domestic pressure on the U.S. government to change course, Joe Biden and his administration have shown no desire to choose a different course. Instead, unlike the media narrative that puts blame squarely on Netanyahu, this administration is showing what Joe Biden has shown throughout his career: complete deference to and support of the state of Israel.
If Trump had been president since October we'd see far worse things happening. Biden is terrible, but this is a false comparison and exactly the one the worst people in this country want you to fall for.
But that’s just a hypothetical. What is happening now is real. Biden is president not trump, and the next president whether Biden or trump will have power January 20, 2025. Until then, which is a long ways away, Biden may either be directly responsible for funding a mass genocide or stopping one. So far he continues to pour money to fund Israel and Israeli weapons.
It's election year dude. If Trump gets elected the welfare of Palestinians will be even worse than under Biden in 2025. There are Biden administration members who push for supporting Gazans. Trump's administration will not have those people.
No one gives a damn about trump bud. Erase trump from the equation. He’s not president. Innocent kids and women are getting bombed as we speak. It’s happening now, not later. You can invade rafah and finish your mission in months. You don’t need to wait until next year. Israel will try and finish the job this year. Under Biden.
