Biden doing his best to ensure he loses to Trump this election. People just won’t show up to vote if the choices are shit.

That’s where I stand as of now. I’m in a blue state, so my vote is pretty weak to boot, but I sure as hell am not voting for our current snake of a president.

Same. I've been trying to hold out. I've been trying to tell myself we need to so we can delay fascism

But yet here we are. Biden doesn't care to hide anything anymore. I'm done.

"But we gotta negate as much harm as possible!"

Which harm? Honestly. Biden has done some cool stuff, like helped some people with their student debt. Im sure there's other stuff. And I get he's not a dictator.

But at the same time, he's now not only defending genocide, but openly wanting to take away our rights to protest against it, and telling people they can't because it's antisemitism. Funny how they keep telling Jewish people they hate Jewish people like this.

You guys share my exact sentiment. I keep hearing don’t waste your vote and if trump wins blah blah blah.

Country is shitty either way I give up

Even if you think your vote is weak (I think mine is too, CA) at least vote for your conscience.

There are a few running for office that go against the idea of Genocide, we can at least attempt change by voting to them.

This is embarrassing.

Trump supports Israel way more than Biden does. Don’t the republicans want to ban contraception and possibly reverse gay marriage?

Biden has taken over 7$ million from AIPAC and is a keynote speaker at AIPAC events every year for over 40 years.

I hear you, but know that your options are 1) blank check for Israel and 2) blank check for Israel and the end of American democracy/birth of American corporate theocracy.

No, if Biden loses, he’ll leave peacefully. Any chance Trump will allow for such grace? Or do you suppose he’ll continue to erode our public trust in government institutions and cast our entire democratic enterprise into chaos? And that’s if he loses. If he wins, what exactly is his Middle East policy?

Education policy?

Social rights policy?

Here let me help: stack the courts with Trump sycophants. Continue to strip rights away from women and minorities. Reduce the American education system to Bible study. Encourage Israel to “finish the problem”. Jail and prosecute political enemies. Silence opposition.

We have two bad options. One is worse. You either can see that and refuse to acknowledge the difference out of some staunch principle of virtue signaling, or you see no difference and you think the fates of our American women and children and trans friends are equally poised for safety under a second Trump term.

I don’t know which part of my comment invited that I was pro trump or deserved this long of a response.

Our government is paid and bought by corporate lobbyists. Corporate profits have never been higher. That’s my point - the corporate theocracy is already here, under Biden under trump it doesn’t matter.

Not sure how anyyyyy of the other stuff is relevant to what I said.

These people are aware of this, they're Trump supporters doing the same bullshit the supposed berniebros were doing in 2016.

Either that or its just your average case of fickle single-issue voters

Yep somehow my short comment implies I’m a trump supporter lmfao

Personally, I look around and just don’t see a country worth saving anymore. I’m sick and tired of being forced to vote for the lesser of two evils.

To be clear, I’m not a Trump supporter, because I’m not voting for him either. I’m simply not going to keep pretending to care what happens to this country anymore. If our population is so unintelligent that someone like Trump can even get elected after everything he has done, then this country is just a lost cause—period.

To be even more clear, the DNC doesn’t care about the rights of homosexuals or minorities anymore than the RNC actually cares about religion. It’s all a show to sucker you into perpetuating a broken system that ultimately fucks us all in the ass; and not in a way anyone but a masochist would enjoy.
