Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons, and they're Shia Muslims so a Muslim majority nuclear armed nation(like Pakistan) isn't obligated to assist.

The thing Israel wants to do is nuke Iran to eliminate them as a potential threat, but if it does that, it's a loss. Iran is territory they won't be able to access anymore due to radiation. Israel wants the land too because they're an expansionist power. You cant keep offering citizenship and housing to people who identify as jewish without having the space to house them. They're not going to stop at Gaza and the west Bank. They're likely going all the way with it and America would want that since it would get to access some of that real estate and natural resources.

It's really not a religious thing. Even if Iran was sunni, they could expect no help from Pakistan. I mean Palestine is sunni and there's been nothing from Pakistan. This is because of Pakistan's alliance with the west (which also why they're allowed to have nukes despite not being as significant a world power as the others).

Think Pakistan has its hands full just by bordering Iran, India, Afghanistan and China.
