At some point biden will have to stop enabling them, right?

Probably not, he loses, Trump wins, things get far worse. Last night trump was bitching about how pro Palestine protestors and “rioters” (his term) can do whatever they please, implying that’s all gonna change next year.

I want you to know there is no amount of Trump fear mongering that will get me to vote for biden. Genocide is my line and if you are telling me both sides support a genocide then I am abstaining

Don't abstain altogether, vote third party. It's the only possible way towards a true democracy in the US

Yeah exactly. If you're gonna waste a vote, at least put it to good use. Show we need something different

Totally fine with that, just my expectation of what will happen. I’ve heard people explain how genocide doesn’t also involve humanitarian aid or pamphlets warning that air strikes are coming, but I get it. Personally I’ve prepared my mind and soul for at least 4 more years of trump and with my lifestyle I’ll personally be fine. Just weird hearing the next president talk about these Palestine Demonstrators as rioters, but I anticipate that will seem like mild rhetoric in 9 months

Pro Palestinian protestors are already being arrested. Pro palestine phrases are being condemned as hate speech.

Fascism is fascism. Genocide is genocide. I don't care if your version of genocide and fascism are lest boorish and pigheaded. The impact is the same

Genocide can in fact involve both those things for rhetorical reasons as long as you are trying to convince people you aren't performing a genocide. It might also look like letting through some humanitarian aid for optics and then bombing 3 trucks containing NGO volunteers. Or, I don't know, having your minister publicly state that you intend to block food water and electricity from the whole region because you're dealing with "human animals".

We have detected the use of dehumanizing language. Terms and phrases such as "human shields", "human animals", etc. can deny or undermine the inherent humanity of a group of people. Please be mindful of the potential harms the use of such language can create. For reference, see: Dehumanization on Wikipedia and The real-life harm caused by dehumanising language on BBC.

u/iwishiwasntthisway Apr 22 '24

Bc they're genocidal monsters thay are plunging the world into a global conflict with blood lust

But Biden is fully in support of this. Why do you say he has to stop enabling them.

It was more wishful thinking assuming that the US president was a logical actor.... but you're right... what the voters want don't matter to him. He is an empty soulless husk and always has been

you mean Hamas?

7

u/hey_you_too_buckaroo Apr 22 '24

Israel has caused way more damage and death. What Hamas has done barely registers in comparison.

-4

u/larrylustighaha Apr 22 '24

so we are blaming Israel for protecting its citizens now?

Israel, but then you know that.
