This was one of the most savage lines in the show
Any other properly savage replies?

Designed and screen printed by my amazing boyfriend, who is also a Friends fan! I know the images of Ross, Monica, and Phoebe don’t match the episode the line is from, but I don’t even care because it’s just so perfect. ❤️

Susan Sarandon and Alec Baldwin are mentioned before they appear on the show, and an argument can be made for Bruce Willis since the guys are such big fans of die hard - is there anyone else I’m missing who also qualifies for this?

I'm on my first rewatch of the show and noticed that every character has their own kind of humorous situations:
Ross: always ends up being a victim of something. A divorce, being mugged by Phoebe, etc. Also, his scenes almost always include physical comedy.
Phoebe: is all about the unexpected. You never know what her next line will be. Like when she speaks Italian or tells the group she lived in Belgium.
Joey: is frequently involved absurd situations. For example, the time when he threw a woman's leg into a fire place, or not being able to say "soup" instead of "noodle soup."
Rachel: gets into very embarassing situations all the time, like accidentally kissing her boss or wearing a very revealing dress at someone else's house.
Chandler: always get into trouble, but different of Ross his problems are less dramatic and unusual, like getting stuck in a public restroom with women's clothing or receiving smacks from his boss.
Monica: is insane. You never know when she'll get obsessed over something, be it a competition or a matter of hygiene.
I don't know if all of this is super obvious to everyone, but the show feels different after realizing this. What are your thoughts on this?

In episode one we had Cosimo Fusco (Paolo), Christina Pickles (Judy Gellar), and Jane Sibbet (Carol). In episode two was Maggie Wheeler (Janice!).
There's two episodes left. Who do you think would be really cool to see on the show?

Mine is TOI Barbados P2. Specifically, the eavesdropping scenes. Monica gets in trouble with the gang for yelling too loudly, and even gets noticed from the couples in the rooms adjacent. But there are MULTIPLE times she yells loudly and doesn’t get shushed, like her screaming “SOMEBODY SWITCH” when she realizes she’s listening in on her brother. I know it’s not important and doesn’t really change anything about the show, but some continuity would have been nice here!

I’ve been rewatching the show and something I noticed really made me happy for some reason.
It’s such a small detail, possibly not even purposeful, but shows her development so well I thought it worth to mention.
In the earlier seasons, when Phoebe is upset over Terry hiring a professional guitarist, Rachel goes outside to comfort her. She sits down on the curb but not before laying down a towel. Then in season eight, after her date with that actor guy, Ross asks Rachel to sit down on these stairs and she does it without hesitation. Even thought she’s wearing nice clothing.
This isn’t the only time in the later series where she sits on the ground without putting something down to prevent dirt touching her also.
I think this perfectly represents Rachel’s subtle development throughout the series.
Thoughts?

I just think that Jennifer Aniston was really funny in the show. She didn’t do physical comedy as much as Ross or Chandler, but she’s great with timing too. Her comedy was underrated because of her looks. I appreciate her scenes with Phoebe a lot, especially in the later seasons - she could match her energy pretty well.

I looked up Emma’s birthdate and it said april 4th, but that doesn’t make sense right? In the one with Phoebe’s birthday dinner, they go to dinner on Halloween. In the very next episode (the one with the male nanny), Ross says Emma is two months old. So her birthday should be in September, no? But then that would mean that Rachel was already like four months pregnant by Chandler and Monica’s wedding… The Friends timeline doesn’t make much sense, does it?
