To donate to the Buffalo survivors:

https://nationalcompassion.org/fund/buffalo-survivors-fund/

https://www.gofundme.com/f/buffalo-survivors-fund

And to the Uvalde survivors and their families:

https://twitter.com/Uvalde_CISD/status/1529480046276141056?t=e3zWcROGQXBGSCCPX2lcNQ&s=19

Because our lawmakers are failing us, there will inevitably be more shootings and I will update this post with more links to those fundraisers.

ACl Surgery Cost

I need help with post-kidney donation surgery expenses.

This feels really gross and bad, but I'm realizing that I do, in fact, need to ask for some help. I am so, so fortunate to be able to give my brother a kidney. We are a perfect tissue-type match, so I'm able to donate directly. He's been on dialysis for 2 years now, and he's finally been cleared (he was considered too high-risk for surgery for a hot minute there). Surgery is scheduled for 1/6.Grants are available, but limited in what they can cover. I will need insurance to pay for pain meds post-surgery, and I do want to be able to reimburse my lovely partner for any lost wages resulting from taking care of me in the 1-2 weeks immediately following surgery.

https://gofund.me/27cc3e35

TLDR: I get to get my brother off of dialysis, but I live in a capitalist hellscape.

If you could give any to help support the Yukon Women's Wrestling team it would be very kind. My family has donated $300 already and really want these girls to be able to go to a few tournaments this year and have stuff to eat and drink for them.

Help Me Share the Living Water in Belize

Hello everyone,

My name is Sophia, and I’m currently a sophomore in college, growing in my faith in Jesus Christ. As my community continues to show me God’s love through their actions, I’ve come to the point where I want to share that same love and dedication with others. This spring, I have the amazing opportunity to go on a mission trip to Belmopan, Belize, and I’m beyond excited to turn this dream into reality. During the trip, we’ll deliver water filters to local families and use the demonstration of how they work as an opportunity to share the good news of Jesus, showing how He purifies our hearts just as the filters purify water. However, my current financial situation poses a challenge. As a college student on financial aid, I don’t have the funds to cover the trip on my own. If you feel led to support my mission to bring the gospel to these smaller communities, I’d be forever grateful.

PLEASE Help Algerian Friends Recover from Tragic Accident

Hello Good people of Reddit,

I’m reaching out because my friend in Algeria is in a heartbreaking situation, and they need our help. While driving, they were hit by a drunk driver, causing significant damage to his car. The repairs are going to cost €2500, an amount that’s impossible for him to afford. In Algeria, car prices are extremely inflated due to limited availability of new vehicles and high import taxes. Even a small, used car like the Nissan Micra is overpriced, making it difficult for families to afford basic transportation.

To make matters worse, one of his friends was with him in the car and suffered a broken collarbone from the accident. This is an incredibly tough time for them all – a car repair is the least of their worries right now, but without it, life becomes even harder.

I’m asking for your support to help them get back on their feet. Every donation, no matter how small, will help cover the repair costs and ease the burden they’re facing. If you can help, please donate. If not, sharing this post would mean the world. Thank you for your kindness and support. Let's make a difference in their lives.

Birthday help for TBI survivor

My fiancé is turning 40 in February. His life was turned upside down 3 years ago by a traumatic brain injury. His quality of life is not high and he fights severe depression daily. He cannot work anymore and it makes him feel useless. He's in therapy but we take everything a day at a time. He has never had a birthday party as an adult and I want his 40th to be special. I have a bunch of his friends and family coming to what he thinks is an Imbolc/Brigids Day dance at a local studio. If you can spare anything please consider buying from this list of stuff he's been asking for to enjoy life more. I'm also going to try to get him a box of cigars, a fishing license, and a country club membership, but funds are low so we will see. If you're interested in donating to the other costs please cashapp or venmo $safehavenbeauty. TIA!!💜 https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/22LWFLWROS9SB?ref_=wl_share

Help Rebuild Our Resort After WAR Tragedy

On October 25, 2024, our beloved resort in South Lebanon was tragically bombed, targeting the press and media team who were

renting the entire facility. In this devastating attack, we lost three valued members of the press, leaving a deep scar on our community and our hearts.

The destruction is overwhelming. Out of our nine charming chalets, one has been completely obliterated, while the remaining eight have suffered significant damage. Our resort was not just a place for relaxation; it was a haven for connection, joy, and healing.

We are reaching out for your support to help us rebuild and restore our resort to its former glory—and even better. Every donation, no matter how small, will contribute to the necessary repairs and improvements, allowing us to honor those we lost and welcome guests once more.

Your compassion can help us turn this tragedy into a story of resilience and hope. Thank you for considering a donation to help us rise from the ashes.

My name is Zaire Felton. I’m 20 years old, working three jobs, and living on my own with the choice of my parents. I have no car and am working incredibly hard until my body is not keeping up. I came from the hospital, and everything started going downhill from there. I can’t function at all my jobs and be sick. I’m at an extended stay on the verge of being homeless. Please help to just one month of stay, please.

Link at end, sorry im not so good at writing sappy things and will keep this short. Andrew is a 27 year old man who was recently diagnosed with cancer(details from family in go fund me page). This family has lost so much in terms of loved ones too young, anything anyone can do to help is appreciated beyond words. Help a Medically Impacted Couple Save Their Home

Hello Everyone,

I am posting our GoFundMe with the hope that you are willing to contribute. If you are unable to do so, we'd be grateful if you could share our link with your family & friend group.

We are attempting to raise funds towards the back pay for our mortgage. Failing that, we will use the funds raised towards relocation fees & obtaining permanent/emergency housing.

I am on SSDI (medically confirmed disability) due to multiple medical issues. I was a part of the workforce until approximately 10 years ago when my medical issues (some I've had since my late teens) worsened considerably and made employment impossible.

These issues include severe IBS issues (despite six surgeries - two being at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota), spinal issues (also unable to be corrected despite undergoing surgery), chronic pain issues (permanently exacerbated from chemotherapy treatments when I had Hodkins Lymphoma) and depression.

My husband worked in warehousing for over 30+ years - but was permanently injured in a severe workplace accident approximately two years ago. And although he had reached management level - warehouse managers are expected to also engage in intensive physical work. However, this is now impossible for him post-accident.

Transitioning to a new line of work was also difficult as he was in his late 50s at the time of the accident (he's now in his early 60s). Additionally, he was not getting called back for jobs that he did apply due to what we suspect was his age.

Plus during this time his chronic mental health issues considerably worsened. And earlier this year he also started having hospitalizations due to (also) chronic urological issues

Then late this year, a number of neurological issues also started to emerge. We didn't initially recognize some as they overlapped with his mental health symptoms. While we are seeing a neurologist and are scheduling tests - these issues have worsened considerably over this winter. These neurological issues include: confusion, forgetfulness, dexterity issues with his fingers + hand tremors.

We fell behind in our mortgage payments for multiple reasons. The first is because our income was sharply reduced (to just my SSDI payments) after my spouse's accident and later when he began regular (but unplanned) urology-based hospitalizations. His mental health issues also compounded the situation.

When we applied for (what we thought was) foreclosure assistance with the company holding our mortgage - they prolonged the process for over a year. While we were compliant in providing everything requested, we were given requests that impeded the review process and pushed us closer to foreclosure. This was accomplished by having us regularly re-send certain documents and/or would ask for increasingly more arcane documents.

After nearly a year of this (while our home moved into foreclosure) they then denied it a mere few weeks before the sale.

We have since learned from multiple sources that this is a common tactic of this particular company. They've actually done this to other individuals seeking to save their property and have rebranded multiple times due to backlash. Unfortunately, this behavior is entirely legal and there's nothing we can do to fight it.

We did look for mortgage assistance outside of the company (ie, grants) but there were no available financial help in our state nor city/county and hasn't been for some time.

A group of our friends is aiding us in the fundraising process and legal issues. We've already gotten an incredible base started - but we are also reaching out to people beyond our various circles.

As mentioned, the funds will go to the past due amount. If we are unable to reach our goal, it will go to various costs related to relocating.

We'd be immensely grateful if you can contribute to our efforts. Please feel free to contribute whatever works within your budget - every amount helps our goal. But even if you aren't able to contribute - we'd be immensely grateful if you could circulate our GoFundMe to those you know.

TYSM and Happy Holidays. https://gofund.me/09b25453

🚨 Urgent Fundraiser: No Water for Over a Week in My Area of Malawi – Please Help During This Crisis! 🚨

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for urgent support. The area I’m staying in, Kande, Nkhata Bay, Malawi, has been without water for over a week. This has left the community, especially school students, relying on borehole water, which is not always safe. The risk of cholera outbreaks is high, and immediate action is needed to prevent a health crisis.

I’m raising funds to help provide clean water and other essential support to those affected. Your donations will go directly toward:

  • Purchasing clean and safe water for drinking and cooking.
  • Covering hygiene-related supplies to reduce the risk of cholera.
  • Supporting school students and families who are struggling during this time.

Why Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is the fastest and easiest way for me to receive support directly and immediately. With unreliable banking and payment systems in Malawi, Bitcoin ensures that I can quickly access the funds and put them to use for this urgent situation.

You can contribute via Bitcoin here:
bc1q5l9t0vrstg33r3pmum0ut9rc89mahlft4mzd8x

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in this crisis. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this message with others can also help spread the word.

Thank you for your kindness and support. Together, we can make a difference during this challenging time. 🙏

Maizy May's surgery

My Maizy May needs help. We have a lot but need some help. I took her in as a 2 week old puppy. She's now 7months and her favorite toy is on the inside not the outside.
