Resources I finally found the streets where the pictures of the battery and the bike were taken

As if the timeline to the Hilton wasn’t impossible, let’s add at least 5 more minutes walking to the bike.

The image of the suspect with the battery is in the corner of Columbus and 103. Right in front of the Children’s Aid Frederick Douglas community Center. The second picture, with the suspect riding the bike, was taken at Central Park West and 103rd st. This means the bike was between those blocks.

This adds at least 5 more minutes of walking and setting the battery up as well.

  • Also, where did the suspect get the bike?
  • where is the bike now?

Yes, I happened to reach the same conclusion about those two corners today fiddling around with Google Maps and StreetView. And I agree it makes his trip from the hostel to the Hilton (as stated in the NY federal indictment) even more of a matter of teleportation. Ridiculous.

I have other questions about the bike. Where did he stash it during the hour or so when he was walking around before the murder? Did he lock it, which would cost himself precious seconds after the murder and require a steady hand and fingers when adrenaline would be pumping at the max? Or did he risk someone stealing it? I’d have locked it.

The narrative in the NY federal indictment is by far the most bare-bones and vague example I’ve ever come across. For example, it omits the times of the crucial Starbucks sighting and phone sighting, and the time and location of the backpack discovery and its contents. Almost as if they wanted to avoid locking themselves in as much as possible, in case they needed to needed to make massive adjustments to their timeline and narrative.

It is bare bones. They excluded the Starbucks picture as well. I wonder if they did that because it doesn’t look like LM. My fear is they instead of finding out the truth, they will just find evidence pointing to LM.

Where can we see the indictment? Thanks!

The bike is a bit of a mystery to me as well. I read on here that it may have been stolen, which seems extremely possible if it was ditched. A lone e-bike on the street is definitely not going to last long in NYC or anywhere for that matter

To your point, how would the suspect leave an e-bike out the night before. Imagine all the planning ahead to have the mode of transport stolen. This whole thing is off.

The other thing is that the backpack looks more like the charcoal bag with the black handle. While the guy at Starbucks and shooter have the lighter ASH color with the light brown handle.

It may have helped that 103rd Street between Columbus and CPW is a pathway, not a street. Although it looked as if scaffolding ran on both sides the whole way. Definitely a risk to stash it overnight, even locked.

I think the Douglas Houses is considered “the projects”. Not the safest area to leave a bike. The bike might have been left closer to Central Park. Still very dangerous though. This also adds walking time to the commute downtown.

There are random e-bike racks/rental kiosks all over the city, and many more around central park....for convenience and accessibility.

I know LM has chains when he’s walking from what we’ve seen but this is a very wide gait and doesn’t seem to be the same stature at all.

Allegedly* LM

I’m talking about the LM they have in custody, not the alleged killer.

Was LM seen with those bright white bottom sneakers at his arrest in Altoona? I mean they claimed he had clothing similar to what the shooter was wearing in his endless steam of backpacks he had on him but the sneakers are quite noticeable

They only have a video of him going to the station just wearing sock. And taking pictures of him inside the cell without shoes. Which is interesting because he might be wearing different type of shoes. As someone with back problems, I travel very light. One pair of shoes, one jacket. Definitely not 4 jackets, 2 backpacks, multiple pairs of shoes, Monopoly money. lol.

There are several e-bike rental facilities in NYC that the shooter likely rented the bike from. If it was a rental, it probably either got picked up by police for evidence or just got put back into rotation with the other rentals.

Maybe. These are mostly by Central Park and would require an ID and credit card. There is also the possibility that LM is not the shooter and the shooter was able to get away with the bike and still has it. I truly believe that the image of the shooter they have going into Central Park is not the one coming out on 77th.

Can you edit to remove his name and use initials?

Reddit has been banning any subs that use the full name, we are just trying to avoid the automod

There is a video of (allegedly) him walking along a sidewalk at 6:20am, I believe it says West 55th, and he touches a trash bag. What is he doing??

3

u/Outrageous-Farm439 15h ago

6:20 was right after Starbucks. They are saying he’s disposing the kind bar wrapper.

2

u/Diesel0227 14h ago

The story states that was where the shooter threw out the water bottle and wrapper from Starbucks.

I don't know if this is going to help his trial. He was paraded around the docks in orange. Look at his arms. There are obvious scratches, from handcuffs. Is that abuse?I wanted to send out the picture, but it was deleted instantly. So I can only describe it in words. You can find other clear pictures on the internet. Tell his lawyer if it helps.

I also mapped this out and those are low income housing projects where the person is seen with the bike battery. I have made several posts about this. I think they may have the wrong person. It makes more sense to me that the shooter is from the area to know such a route to the scene of the crime and back. The hostel where LM stayed is nw of the this housing project. UHC members are mostly low income. I think the bike and battery have not been found because the actual shooter took them back to the area where they came from. It would make a lot more sense to me if the shooter was a UHC memeber or family/friend of one who had claims denied and suffered or died because of it. It also makes more sense to me that it was a resident of NYC not a visitor who, as far as we know, never lived there. Even with GPS it would be hard to carry that out. Why would LM be walking in front of a housing project carrying a bike battery at 5 am? I also asked in subs about the shoes and got responses like what about them? I want to see the shoes he was wearing when arrested. This person does not move or have same body type as LM.

It would be great/ nice if you could show the screenshots of google map to understand what you say. If also someone could make the full itinary on google map and add the time to do it with google map, that would be awesome. I'm not from NY/ US so it is not obvious for me. Thank you

What is he holding in the last picture?

4

u/Outrageous-Farm439 15h ago

Ebike battery. So this person left point A holding a battery, walked by Columbus ave along 103 to get the bike and then rode it to Central Park west

1

u/large-land-snail 12h ago

Do you happen to know the street cross section of the last picture of him holding the ebike battery?

1

u/Outrageous-Farm439 11h ago

Columbus and 103

1

u/midwifecrisisss 10h ago

how hard would it be to remove an e bike battery? i feel like if it were easy people would steal them all the time

On Slide 5, he has a very noticeable heel strike on the left when he walks. I wonder if LM walks with the same gait.

I looked at the street view for 85th and Columbus to see if anything jumps out as to why the suspect would have left the bike there, but don't see anythng. Was it random or were they meeting someone to hand over the bike. Also in that federal indictment it says the suspect exited cental park not wearing the gray backpack, shows a pic doesn't mention him wearing a different backpack, says he reappeared on foot on west 86th and gets into a cab allegedly going to bus station. No mention of suspect wearing a different jacket when getting into cab, but that guy in the cab is not wearing the shooter jacket.

In the cbs7 news earlier they said suspect exited central park at 85th now feds say 77th, rode bike up central park west to 85th then 2 minutes later emerged on foot at 86th and Columbus. He got from the shooting to 85th in 12 minutes they say and that included walking to the bike on 55th. The guy is a ninja. I'm beginning to learn from these convoluted cases that it seems most likely they have the wrong person. For example, in the Thomas Crooks incident it was cut and dry. When things start becoming too complicated and not making sense I now believe it's because they are wrong, e.g. Kohberger case.

Photos aren’t the same. One has individual planters and one has a garden, one has fire stairs on the left and the other doesn’t.
